  • The War on New Year

Some people suggests that fireworks on New Year should be silent or even banned cause it scares some animals and harm to the environment. So what? Tradition, or well, anything, is way more important than nonsense like so called animal rights and the environment.

Just like this year and and all years before, I will lock my dogs into the bathroom while firing off my rockets, so they don't run away, they stay there over night usually.

More than 40,000 people have signed a petition calling for a new law banning the public use of fireworks.

The petition, on the Government’s official epetition’s website, has called for legislation governing the sale of fireworks to be updated to ban public firework displays due to the “alarm, distress and anxiety” they cause to “many people and animals”.

The petition calls on the Business Secretary Greg Clark, whose department is responsible for their regulation, to ban garden displays and increase regulation of official displays.

Liberal special snowflakes are so weird. Getting rid of something just because it produces anxiety?!? Current volatility of the stock market is making me anxious, does that mean that we should ban the NY Stock Exchange? Ridiculous!
God created fossils to test our faith.

If your dogs are afraid of fireworks, all it means is you haven't trained them properly. When I had dogs as a youngster, I would train them up to be Real Men by tying balloons on their tails and shooting at it with an air rifle. Good times!
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

          Jesus wasn't some wuss.

I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
          Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

I get this every year from the building superintendent. "Don't set off firecrackers in your apartment, sir." he says. "You could start a fire, sir," he says. "Bottle rockets are for OUTSIDE," he says. Hmph. I didn't hurt anyone.

Of course I won't be setting them off tonight because I'm going to the drag show in order to try and save some queens for Jesus. I know it sounds disgusting but the harvest is plenty and the workers are few. We simply have to get more homers inside the pearly gates before Jesus comes.

            We just have to.

Apparantly the Galapagos Islands joined the War on New Year. Nr. 1 favourite island of infamous satanist and nazi, Charles Darwin, of course.

Authorities in Ecuador say animals suffered elevated heart rates and anxiety after pyrotechnic shows.

If I were to decide we could just drop a nuke or two on the Galapagos, so the next time an evolutionist tells us "but what about the Galapagos?" we can just say "what Galapagos?"
