Re: Does God hate Finland?
You are ignoring many important Verses of the Bible.
The important point is that True Faith always result in good works, so if anyone fails to do these good works (good works = obeying the Bible), he is not a True Christian™. I will show you:
Matthew 7:21:
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Not everyone who calls Jesus "Lord" is going to Heaven, but they that do His Will will go there.
1 Corinthians 13:2:
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
Charity clearly is more important than faith.
1 Timothy 6:17-19:
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
If you are rich, you should use your riches to do good works, according to the apostle Paul.
Hebrews 6:10:
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
God will not forget our "work and labour of love." Again, an indication that God does care about good works.
1 John 2:3-6:
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
People that claim to know Jesus but do not keep His Commandments are not Christians. We ought to walk as Jesus did, which means doing good works, like He did.
Revelation 20:13:
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Revelation 22:12:
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
When Jesus returns, we will be judged according to our works.
James 2:14:
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Faith can't save you if you don't have works.
James 2:17:
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
James 2:20:
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:26:
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Even more, faith without works is "dead."
Does that clear things up? This is why Lutheranism is considered a heretical, false doctrine among True Christians™. I'm afraid I have to inform you that you're going to Hell if you continue believing in this heresy.
