What about the 5,000,000 German soldiers, or the million civilians that died? Not all of them were war criminals, you know; the Regulars in the Military were mostly just men fighting under the flag of Germany.
And in response to a far earlier post, I wouldn't go so far as to say God loves America more... Over the years, we've killed more civilians in our Military actions than Germany did in the entire Holocaust. Just look at the bombing of Dresden, for example. It was fairly unmilitarized, and we leveled the city, killing thousands upon thousands of civilians. Vietnam, our troops would be ordered to massacre entire villages of people just by the suspicion that a few of them were VietCong. the Gulf War, there was a particularly bad incident in which we strategically dropped bombs down the exhaust chute of a concrete building that turned out to be a shelter, and killed or maimed all of the civilians inside. Even now, there's documents being leaked via the Internet that show reports of hundreds of thousands of civilians killed by our actions over the past 7 years in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Compared to our decades-long span of killing innocents, I don't think we're any more innocent than Germany in the late '30s and early '40s. And in any event, many Americans are of German/Aryan ancestry, so... You know.

Sorry, but as Jesus (and our own George W. Bush) said: "You're either with us, or against us." Those soldiers were Nazis. They willingly signed up to fight for Adolph Hitler. Are you saying if you were German back then you would happily sign up for the military and wear your nazi uniform with pride?

I know it's currently a socialist hellhole, but historically speaking, Germany has been one of the godliest nations to ever exist.

1. Germans have been tireless protectors of Christianity.

Since 498 when Clovis I of the Franks who ruled both Germany and France was Baptized, Germany has been the standard bearer for Christianity.

In a most famous event in 732 when the Muslim hordes attempted to pour into western Europe, it was a Frank Charles the Hammer, with Jesus on his side, who stopped them dead in their tracks at Tours.

That same Charles brought Christianity to the pagan Saxons at sword point. The felling of Thor's Oak in 723 near Fritzlar was the beginning of the end of paganism in Europe.

Later Charles Martel's grandson Charlemagne would go on to take territory back from the Mudslimes in Spain.

Hello there

since I live in Germany as well (as I said in the introduction thread ) I thank you a lot for praising this country so much - yet I have to correct some things.
- Indeed socialism/communism is gone since 20 years (and was established only in 5 Federal States of the 16) - and nobody really wants it back so no problem with that
- Our chancellor and our president are both members of the Christian Union (CDU = Republican views) and not of the social-democrats (SPD = Democratic views). So another plus here I guess
- Holocaust did take place and did kill 6 Mio people, most of them "jews" (but be careful with that since you were considered a jew regardless of what you belief or whether you took part in their religious actions but only by lineage - so if your grandmother was jewish but you have never even seen a synagoge from 10 miles away you were put in a bathroom and toxic gas was pumped in for you to die painfully). And Hitler wasn't Christian, a considerable amount of Christians were killed too...
So it is a really sad chapter in our history which is fortunatelly over now and will hopefully never happen again (my grandparents al lots their families in that war)

I sure can't say what I would have done if I lived in that time, propaganda was strong and people believed and voted for Hitler (not all and maybe only in the beginning) - nevertheless war is always bad for the soldiers fighting in it and when it comes home knocking on your door ...
