I was surfing around and stumbled into this forum where you are spreading facts about a country I don't live in. You say lots of things that are not true and then I react. As I wrote before, find out the facts before you come up with claims. You know nothing about my country! what you say you claim by referring to a book that you call the Bible that you believe. All people are equal. Who are you to judge what is right and wrong from a book called the Bible? To believe in a god belonging to history, it is time to you wake up. I can not believe in a god then it means I have to trust me on someone else. I believe in myself and my wife and my children. All that stands in the Bible are just stories, you know it too. All war has started Due to the nature of religions, and you know as well as I that it's true

Yes. At no time has a war been fought for the purposes of:

1. Stealing the possessions of the neighbouring nation/tribe.
2. Carrying off the women of the neighbouring nation/tribe as concubines.
3. Acquiring slaves.
4. Expanding your own nation/tribe into territory inconveniently occupied by foreigners/enemies.
5. Acquiring resources such as farmland/minerals by means of circumventing trade with neighbouring nations/tribes.
6. Plain old fashioned belligerence.
7. Revenge for any of the above actions by a neighbouring tribe/nation.

All of those reasons are right and proper reasons for war and God has sanctioned every single one of them in His time, as is His right, but to say that such entirely secular motivations are a direct result of religion and only religion is specious at best and at worst disingenuous.

Not that there is anything wrong with a holy war as a way of killing lots of heathens - God has made that quite clear over and over again. But the idea that the only motivation for war is religion is utter rubbish.

In plain English, your argument is totally ridiculous and an embarrassment as a reasoning position.

I would like your opinion themselves. what have you been through, how you get your values, who is not worth living and so on. For me, as I wrote before, I can not see how people can have their values from a book that was written for a very long time ago, if one has been written which I do not think. The story goes on and that we as humanity will do so. I have my belief that we as humanity must move forward on this world will not perish because of ignorance and not daring to take a stand. What I have been through is being lied to by Catholics all my life about God until I read the Bible and saw the Truth(R) about what God really is. Now I have read the Bible I see God clearly and want everyone else to know the True Living God of the Bible so they can join me in knowing just how much God deserves our praise and unquestioning faith.
