Hello everyone. I would like to participate in this conversation but I still have some doubts about the Baptist Beliefs and Religion.
I'll start saying that I was raised in a Catholic education, also based on love. I must also say that, as an individual and grown woman I don't agree with everything Catholicism stands for, mainly some ritualistic beliefs like 'if I don't go to the church every sunday God won't love me'. What I do believe is in -besides just going to the church- always try to behave myself in the image of Jesus and the Lord, before my brothers. (because everywhere, in every religions, there are those 'believers' who spend a lot of time in churches and when they step out forget to truly 'Live' what they supposedly stand for.
As every human being I am not perfect (only God is), but I try to spread the testimony of the parental love God has for his sons; As God is seen to love humanity, I aspire to fraternally love my equals (even the ones who haven't found God yet) as the kind of love that I think every true Christian agrees to have.

I've read that "Baptists believe that faith is a matter between God and the individual (religious freedom). To them it means the advocacy of absolute liberty of conscience." is this true? At what point?

What "rights" does the human have, friend? Each and every one of us has the "right" to eternal damnation for being born against our will in a sinful state that naturally rebels against the LORD without our knowledge (until we read the Bible; 2 Timothy 3:16). You see, the Bible teaches that as a result of the fall of man (Genesis 3:6) every part of man—his mind, will, emotions and flesh—have been corrupted by sin. You see, sin affects all areas of our lives, including who we are and what we do. It penetrates to the very core of our being so that everything is tainted by sin and "…all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" before a holy God (Isaiah 64:6). That means anything we do that might inspire us to think is good, makes the LORD puke. It's not good enough. Nothing we do can ever be good enough.

The Bible teaches that we sin because we are sinners by nature, or, as Jesus says, "Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit." (Matthew 7:17-18).

By nature, man’s heart is "deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked" (Jeremiah 17:9), and the thoughts of his heart are "evil continually" (Genesis 6:5). The Bible also teaches us that man is born dead in transgression and sin (Psalm 51:5, Psalm 58:3, Ephesians 2:1-5). The Bible teaches that because man is "dead in sins" (Ephesians 2:5), he is held captive by a love for sin (John 3:19; John 8:34) so that he will not seek God (Romans 3:10-11) because he loves the darkness (John 3:19) and does not understand the things of God (1 Corinthians 2:14). Does that make sense? Those who do not know the Glory of the LORD, naturally love evil.

So, men suppress the truth of God in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18) and continue to willfully live in sin. Because they are totally depraved, this sinful lifestyle seems right to men (Proverbs 14:12) so they reject the gospel of Christ as foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:18) and their mind is "enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." (Romans 8:7).

The only "right" we have is eternal death (Romans 6:23) because we rebel against a Good and Perfect King (Psalm 145: 1-3). But because God is merciful (Psalm 145:8), He gave us the only loophole that actually works: Faith (John 3:18). Humans don't have the "right" to this loophole, but we do have the opportunity to take it (Romans 10:9). Won't you take this opportunity? Won't you join us in Heaven where we will have hidden manna, white rocks, and new names (Revelation 2:17), and we'll never be sad or lonely or feel under-valued or neglected again (Revelation 7:17)?
