Re: Hiding Bruises
I wouldn't be so quick to make that conclusion. I thought Mr. Etheldreda was as manly and Christ-oriented as Tim Tebow, but it turns out the good people of Landover Baptist Church were right on the money. After some private, intense, counseling, I am happy to share that Mr. Etheldreda is now confirmed, 100% normal! And although the cost was more than I had anticipated (for the expenses you know), the guaranteed Salvation© is more than worth it!

It's not too early to raise your children properly. Read this insightful thread to learn how and why to start hitting your child with a rod 16 weeks before birth.Originally posted by Truth of the Matter View PostWhen Mr. Arends corrects me, he uses a hairbrush and his hand. I thought you divorced your husband because he was a faggot who cheated on you with every man in town.Originally posted by janet the skanky slut View PostI didn't know it was a sin to burn a pie..or that doing so was a punishable offense..and that punching a woman in the eye was considered anything but abuse...now if I had been reading a book, been on the computer etc., and ignored the timer which tells one the pie was done..then a little trip over my husbands knee to remind me that paying more attention to the timer on the stove was much more important than finishing the chapter I was on..or finishing what ever else I was doing...now that kind of discipline I would consider more appropriate ...and packing my bags and leaving would never occur to me..
If you're going to lie, at least attempt to keep it straight.

Re: Hiding Bruises
Yep, in fact it was a "baptist" minister who told me that reading the Bible was a sin. He got tired of me asking him to explain the scripture that he had taken out of context.Originally posted by turdbear View PostMost Baptists absolutely don't believe this crap they're peddling on this board.
In fact I almost lost my faith because of these false christians and their cherry picking ways. Thank GOD that I found Bible believing Christians!

Are you implying that READING AND FOLLOWING THE BIBLE is "wild and crazy?"Originally posted by turdbear View Post@Didymus, I'm not here because I like debating the Bible, I'm here because most of this board is hilarious. Some of the wild and crazy stuff you guys come up with cracks me up.
Because the Landover Church is not proposing anything that is not based on the Bible.
And following the entire Bible is the Christian thing to do:
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
