@BillieJean, just to clear something up here. Most Baptists absolutely don't believe this crap they're peddling on this board. This is an example of a most extreme cult that just happens to have a Baptist label on it. I've gone to Baptist churches all my life, and in every one I've ever been involved in, the members would definitely not condone abuse of anyone. It's not Baptists that are heartless monsters, it's these messed up, twisted people who are sick and need help. Hopefully you'll see this before somebody edits it, as they tend to do here. I'm actually going to make a Youtube video in response to this site, but I'm sure I won't be allowed to post it here. Just do a search and you'll find it. I'll try to do it today.

Spanking IS abuse, you have no right to put one single finger in your child head, violence is not a solution, and besides, a child have no posibilities against an adult, adults are biggers and stronger, so is an act of cowardy fight against someone who is smaller than you. God hates cowards



If I see a person beating... oh, excuse me... "correcting" some of this kids, I have no problem in calling police, because what something is wrong is necessary to ask for help, if not, is like help to the parents to keep with the abuse

But her point was it is not abuse if it is done with love. If a child of two starts licking the exposed wiring in the cellar what would any loving parent do? You can't reason with a child: they are two childish for that.

But if you give them a short sharp shock like a bloody nose you can rest safe in the knowledge that they will never go back into cellar again.

God tells us not to spare the rod lest the child be ruined. If a child is treated like God tells us it will grow up to be respectful of it's elders and fearful of God, thus increasing it's chance of getting Heaven (if male as women get to Heaven via child birth).

And that is what it boils down to: getting Heaven. I did not physically discipline my wife because I was being mean, I did it so she will get to Heaven.

Oh, and what about my friend who got a broken nose from her infant son? Should she report him to the police? I can tell you that she was sick and tired of busy-bodies sticking their nose where it didn't belong and blaming her husband for it.

I have a better idea: if you don't want bruises, then don't let any man to spank you, if a man is violent with you or try to be violent, defend yourselves, specially if you have children, because they would be after them after spanking you, because without their mother to protect them only God knows what a violent father can do, so made men respect you before is too late. Call the police, ask for help, I don't know, but the crucial is teach men since they're boys to respect women, not only with words but with the example, believe me, we can save lots of lifes just with those simple actions

Baptists believe the Bible is the truth. The Bible says the women and children are the property of the man of the house, to be corrected (physically, if necessary) to guide them to Salvation.
