I have noticed that practically anyone who dares to publicly support candidates other than Mr. Hold (such as Sariel) get "banned".

This is nothing less than a blatant attempt to stifle free speech.

I (and, I am sure, other candidates) would appreciate an explaination.

If by “Freedom of speech” you mean the God Given right, as a freeborn male, to express your Love of God, proclaim the scriptures, and give support to the political party that will give the citizens their best chance of entering The Eternal City, then I agree with you wholeheartedly.

However, if by “Freedom of speech” you mean hippy, drug-fueled ranting of polemics inspired by Satan that will lead inexorably to the downfall of everything for which our forefathers gave their lives and reduce us to atheists, stripped of our guns and slaves to communist totalitarianism, then you too will find yourself banned for waging war on God and corrupting public morals.

Mr. McManus--My congratulations on your contribution to our lively and open contest.

While it is true the supporters of other candidates seem to get banned more often than mine, I see this in a different light. Having supporters banned gives you an opportunity to meet and get aquainted with new voters. I'm sure that you will find this to be a great opportunity.

My newest thread, "Why Is Candidate Hold's BBQ at City Hall?", was deleted. I would like to know why.

Perhaps because Freehold hasn't had an election in so long, its administration has forgotten basic principles.

Obviously, there's favoritism at work here, slanted toward shoving Mr. Hold into office, and down its residents' throats. Clearly, the City cannot allow Mr. Hold to have a campaign BBQ on city property and at the same time claim they're unbiased and impatial as to election results.

In fact, WHY is this church website the official "home" of the elections, rather than the city website?

And SO DO I! Again, "true christians" think they can do whatever they like here in Freehold! Disowning people's land, stoning wiccans and homosexuals, favoriting babboons like Mould during the elections, and now stifling criticism on these very threads used to discuss electoral matters!

My good friend Sariel was banned shortly after I had this conversation with her. Has she tried to contact you, or make your secrets known to the public, that you banned her?

This is a privately owned church forum and we for the most part do not like unsaved people.

1.This in itself is very fishy, these discussions ought to have taken place at the official forums of Freehold, not of thee Landover Baptist Church.
2. Decisions about who is unsaved and who is "true christian" are made by the moderators of this forum, and seeing they all support Mould, it is logical that all people who do not are "unsaved trash."
3. This might be a privately owned forum, but it is also the official discussion forum for these issues, so censorship is really out of place here.
