  • Brave Trophy Hunter Apparently Murdered by Animal Rights Whackos

The death of one of our fellow hunters is always a tragedy. It is even worse when our friend was a well known trophy hunter who had stood up to and killed some of the world's most dangerous beasts.

Pero Jelinc was a big game hunter and had just brought down one huge lion. He was about to take out another when someone, apparently an animal rights communist, shot him. Jelinc was hunting at a dangerous location where enclosed farm raised lions could attack at anytime. Liberals have taken one of our own.

Shows you what hypocrites liberals are. They say they are against guns then turn around and use them on their fellow man. Despicable. Of all sin, I think hypocrisy is the worst.

Such a brave man! Not many could meet such a challenge.

One of the things about animal "rights" activists that annoys me is that they stand aside and let animals kill other animals all the time!

They defend that behavior as being "part of nature". And then they point out that humans shouldn't think ourselves as "above" other animals species but rather as a "part of nature", too.

But then they say it's not "moral" to use animals for our own purposes. But animals aren't expected to conform to morals.

Which is it PETA? Are we animals without moral restrains about using other animals for food, etc.? Or are we a "higher species" that should be held to a higher standard?

From the story cited in the OP:

Pero Jelinic, whose friends say had "hunted everything that could be hunted in Europe," had already killed one lion and was sighting in a second Saturday at a remote lodge near Setiagole, according to Total Croatia News... The lions were captive-bred. They had been farm-raised to be hunted in a legal yet controversial sport often called "canned hunting."
There are few more noble and heroic ways of spending your free time, than shooting a boxed-in animal that was bred solely for that purpose. Mr. Jelinic was a brave man, and he will be missed.

Re: Brave Trophy Hunter Apparently Murdered by Animal Rights Whackos

After the flood, and following the incineration of selected species to please God who likes the smell of burning flesh Genesis 8:20-21 there was a very specific commandment from God. Animals were not to cozy up in the world order He was instituting and, in addition, were to be frightened of us. Not something I dreamed up last night but the Word of God.
          .
GENESIS 9 .KJV . look up
          1
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

Not only are the creatures to be FRIGHTENED of us, God explains, they are to DREAD the very sight (or scent or sound) of a human.

Have you ever felt so frightened? When you encountered something so shuddersome, so alarming, awful, creepy or terrible that you were almost transfixed? In dismay you stare horrified at the most dire apparition before you, consternation reeking in your nostrils; trepidation springs full grown in your heart as the strain and stress, the tension, the terror of that slightest sound yet though slight the sound of all sounds you wish least to hear, from which you know now you will never escape. Closer it comes. Can you elude it? No. BANG! It's shooting at you. What will your babies do without you? BANG!! Getting close now, must run, but you can't run anywhere safe, you can barely run or think or hope at all. There is only panic. This is dread.

God uses another word. Fear. Less about what is happening to you now, more what could happen. A disquietude emerging from worry about nightmare scenarios you may have witnessed befall others. This presentiment haunts you every moment, the wound elastic which uncoiling liberates terror and yet is not terror itself. A dynamic trepidation polluting every thought, every cautious movement, lest catastrophe pounce blasting you to pieces or tears you limb from limb, slowly, deliberately. At any instant this could be your fate; upon the canvas of fear what meagre remnant you call a "life" is daubed, not even an afterthought, you are nothing, all that remains is fear.

I did not decide this was to be the state of animals. God decided. And because He loves us He did not just sit there in Heaven thinking "Look at that klipspringer, frolicking carefree in the Serengeti." He told us. That klipspringer should be in DREAD when it hears an engine roar, the unique rustling which is human, the scent of gunpowder. And just like any lion or zebra, the merest whiff of hunter's sweat strikes FEAR into its subjugated breast. God is explicit. The animal welfare lobby needs to explain how safe places for these beasts can implement what God has ordained. They have yet to do so.

            Well said, Sister Mitza.

Leftest can say whatever they want about the giving these man eating mammals a chance to escape the hunter. The animals will still kill a human given the opportunity. God told us we are to rule over these beasts.

Thus, whether the hunt is on an African safari, in an enclosed game farm or in a zoo, the animals are on the hunt for human flesh and the hunter must demonstrate dominance. I'm grateful there are brave men who do this.

The lion he was trying to bag, can now easily escape the enclosure (I mean, do you really trust anything built by Africans?). It will be able to kill and eat entire families of humans in a very vicious manner, as soon as it gets out. That is unless some other brave hunter like Donald Trump Jr. or Dr. Palmer gets it first.

The blood will be on the hands of these murderous animal rights whackos if anything happens.

I KNOW! These creatures are dangerous! Everyone of them would rip apart human flesh in a heartbeat if we didn't continually put the fear of God Man in them.

The hunting season is here. It's the time for hunters to stay brave when following God's directive (Genesis 1:28-31) we humans dominate the world including those beasts of the forest and field. The first day of the hunting season two hunters were shot, one might die. Important work, like hunting, cannot be stopped when a few brave hunters are brought down. Faced with adversity, hunters must increase their resolve to persevere and be victorious.

If there were no danger, hunters would not be brave.

Great point, Sister Mitza. Without the danger and the brave hunter tracking down and killing the dangerous animal that is in turn tracking down us, the fox for example with its canine teeth, and the stray bullets of other alcohol infused hunters we would all be at peril.
