Jerad Kushner just signed a book deal for a few hundred thousand. Only four years ago Barack and Michele Obama signed a book deal for $65 million.

President Trump has said he turned down two offers. He and Melania's books should be worth $100 million. Why has no deal shown up?

Big publishers whisper they are afraid Trump will not tell the truth and they can't publish his book. Balderdash! Did Obama ever publish his actual birth certificate? Did Obama ever admit Obamacare is socialized medicine?

I'd like to read President Trump tell of his success building the wall and stopping the Corona virus in its tracks. But, I don't want him to be humiliated into accepting a book deal for less than the $65 million the Obamas received.

So like Godless liberals to change the subject. We are discussing humiliation of a former (great) President by not paying him adequately and publishing his book. This is not about golf--it's about important stuff.

We know God will not be mocked. We should also remember the leader of the free world should not be humiliated. Publishers are obligated to pay Trump $65 million whether anyone buys his book or not. It's a matter of principle.

Mr. Mayor, I must admit I am somewhat confused by the question. Mr. Trump has released multiple audio books of himself riffing on questions of policy and political theory.

I agree, Dr. Toole, these are excellent additions to President Trump's body of intellectual materials. It's just that the tradition of Presidents is to record this audio material and publish it as a book. I'm anticipating some publishing house is considering that right now.

A sticking point in negotiations may be the $40 million or so President Trump deserves for his ideas and thoughts. He is just not of a mind to sign onto the project for a tiny amount of money.
