I'm no fan of liberals but this Elron Musk with a lot of cash is admirable in many ways. He has decided to buy the failed Twitter clone, uh Tw... nvm, for $44$$$4. All I can say is he better have saved another $44B to enjoy the Trump brand on his platform again. Don't forget Truth Social is out there already eating its leftovers. DWAC up -20% on the news. DWAC up sheepll!

Re: Alen Musk bought Twitter
Is this the same L. Ron Musk who keeps cluttering up the firmament with space junk? When he sees the competition from sites like LBC, he may want to think again about venturing on to the Interwebs. Proverbs 16:18 - Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.Vaccinated by the love of Jesus!!!

No True Christian™ can have any use for Twitter - it's near impossible to properly rebuke anyone when limited to 140 characters.Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Betting is usually done before the outcome is known. I doubt anyone is taking up your bet, and you did not even state an amount or asset you were willing to put on the table.Originally posted by Philemon View PostI bet

Re: Alen Musk bought Twitter
If people would stop frittering their money away gambling or investing in smashed avocado toast then they could buy a business and stop seeking government subsidies, like L. Ron. I'm surprized he doesn't have an account here to be honest. If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Re: Alen Musk bought Twitter
What on earth is smashed avocado toast? Is it a new shade of green(ish) for cotton prints?
By smashing the hex codes together with "toast" several new shades are available.
Pigments in this range are notoriously unstable however.
Not very exciting.name hex code smashed AVOCADO #568203 #959D52 OLIVE #808000 #AA9C50 OLIVE DRAB #6B8E23 #A0A362 DARK OLIVE GREEN #556B2F #959168 TOAST #D4B7A0 TOAST
Maybe for camouflage?
In which case people using it for an edgy casual "look" are also unstable.

Mitza, I can believe the guy on the right has some stability issues. That contraption on his legs seems to substantiate that.
The girl on the left seems not to have those issues. She does have a good sense of financial responsibility. The shirt she is wearing is sturdy and pretty cheap to buy: Only 5-10 Euro at the Ferdinand Bolstraat in Amsterdam
*Disclaimer, I bought some great stuff thereJeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

I'm not entirely sure, but I know for a fact, that it is a distinguishing feature of a millennial "hipster." Along with kombucha and soy milk instead of real milk. All organic and gluten free, of course.Originally posted by MitzaLizalor View PostWhat on earth is smashed avocado toast?God created fossils to test our faith.

Please stop promoting spaghettiism on a Christian forum. Sure, camo tops are available from surplus stockists all across the world, many with flags. On the arms.Originally posted by Roland View PostMitza, I can believe the guy on the right has some stability issues. That contraption on his legs seems to substantiate that.

To think one's hair looked like that though suggests instability to me. And if that's not what one thought, why would one dye its hair? To mock God? If this is what passes for logic in Amsterdam, I'll stick with Friesland TYVM.

Re: Alen Musk bought Twitter
Look - regardless of their other merits, rich people own things. Leaders lead and rich people own things. It's how it is. That means they get to tell others what to do and what to think and how to behave - or face reality. Reality being the veneer of civilization lasting approximately 1% of human history that means they have a job. How did people get by without a job the other 99% of the time? They didn't, now back to work losers. If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Re: Alen Musk bought Twitter
Although people who own viable businesses tend to be rich (or affluent but that is oxymoronic) God endows business owners with the ability to hire and fire. The apostles owned a bit more than "businesses" – well actually I'd regard a soy milk coffee kiosk owner as a shopkeeper rather than a businessman – wow! they ran fishing fleets having far more "business" demands than a waterproof roof and a coffee machine.
For the other 99% of the time, will we regress (historically taking centuries and therefore unnoticeable)
slowly, rapidly or very slowly?
God knows and God told us what to do next.
God is the arrow of time.
