Amen, Brother Reb. Every time there's a disaster in Africa, Asia or one of the Beanerland countries, we're always hearing how the poor desperate locals are "demanding help." But as a businessman, I'd like to know, "How do they intend to pay it back?" Do they think that we owe them food, bottled water, fuel and medical care?

That's why all these so-called "humanitarian aid" projects ought to be run by private for-profit corporations, like mine, for instance. Those starving refugees want help - fine, but we need collateral. The Haitians had better be ready to sign over their mineral rights, fishing rights, state-run utilities, their young daughters, etc - otherwise, they can go rescue themselves.

You know, Haiti wouldn't be poor if they had invested their money wisely. Suppose the average Haitian had taken out a home equity loan and used the cash to buy Enron stock on margin in the early 1990s, and dumped it and went short (like I did) just before the accounting shenanigans were announced to the public - they could have easily made 10,000% profit. Then they could have leveraged that 10:1 on Countrywide Mortgage, sold it in 2006 and bought credit default swaps from AIG. Then when AIG went bust in late 2008, they would have been bailed out by the US government because AIG was too big to fail - then they could have taken their bailout money and bought US treasuries.

But do you think any Haitians made these sound investments? Hardly - they were too busy pissing their money away on luxuries like food and shelter. So they missed the boat. That's why Haiti is a Third World country.

I'd also like to point out that all those buildings that collapsed in the earthquake only fell down because the locals ignored modern building codes. The average Haitian could have built something like this...



...but instead, they built this...



So whose fault is that? Are we supposed to pay for their mistakes? Remember, the Lord only helps those who help themselves.

Amen, Brother Ezekiel. In fact, Jesus spared the Baptists trying bravely to minister in that Satanic wasteland. I don't know what more proof anyone needs of God's wisdom and mercy.

The Lord has actually done Haiti a large favor (that they really didn't deserve) by culling out many of the wicked, much like a surgeon removing a tumor. Perhaps, if they take this opportunity to repent, the next disaster will only have 20-30,000 heathens left to kill.

My church is helping by sending King James Bibles and missionaries to teach English ASAP. These loving spiritual gifts will help Haiti much more than shallow, material things like food and shelter. After all, what good do blankets and safe drinking water do when your soul is damned to hell?

Only time will tell if Haiti uses this God-given blessing to rebuild their nation into an model Christian society like Freehold. Loving Christian that I am, I am praying that the remaining Haitian heathens die with as little suffering as possible. After all, they will get all they deserve in hell, and that way we don't have to look at the bleeding and crying unless we want to.

Your parents were asking the wrong question, Lynne. They should have asked not what YOU did to deserve a punishment from birth; they should not have had YOU anointed or prayed over. That was a horrible thing to do, and very, very wrong.

I've never heard of these so-called 'stars', but they'd be better off pooling their money and buying much-needed Bibles for Haiti, rather than strutting their way through a telethon, asking us for a handout. U2, Jay-Z and producer Swizz Beatz have recorded a song together to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake.

U2's guitarist The Edge told Irish radio station 2FM the band "wrote a song, finished and recorded" last week after being contacted about the idea.

The Edge, Bono and Jay-Z, along with Rihanna, are due to appear in London for "a group performance" as part of Friday's Hope For Haiti telethon.

George Clooney's two-hour benefit show will be aired on MTV in the UK.

The Edge told 2FM DJ Dave Fanning over the weekend: "Bono got a call from a producer, Swizz. He and Jay-Z wanted to do something for Haiti.

"So Bono came up with the phrase on the phone and last night we were here, we wrote a song, finished, recorded, and sent it back to them.

"So, that might be the next thing you hear from us."

Swizz Beatz also confirmed the project on his Twitter page, saying: "Me, Bono, Hova [Jay-Z's nickname] have something to say about Haiti. Stay tuned.
