Historic African telecom satellite launched
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Africa's first private-sector communications satellite that will provide broadband and wireless services has been launched from South America bearing South African statesman Nelson Mandela's signature, [Edit:a large "X"] according to a statement from Arianespace on Saturday.

The Ariane 5 took off late Friday from French Guiana carrying the Intelsat New Dawn, which was built through a joint venture with Intelsat and Convergence Partners consortium. That is my quote and there is absolutely nothing racist about it: I am merely describing the well-known and well-documented characteristics of the Negroidials.

If there is anything in that statement that seems inappropriate, it's how on earth were the Messicans goaded into doing so much work in the FIRST place? I can only assume the lash was brought down on their backs quite frequently.
