Sweden of course does not follow Biblical Law so the prosecutors would not be interested in I Peter.

I have found that by reading the first post in a thread I find out what the emphasis is. You may have missed this bit:

    Detective Superintendent TERRY SHARPE
    Metropolitan Police

Generally speaking, the Metropolitan Police only get involved when a prosecution is underway. Another hint was:

I didn't realise you were trying to have an intelligent conversation.

But my apologies for clouding your mind, nonetheless. Proverbs 19:2 may be of help to you.

Re: Swedish Christian parents prosecuted again

Aren't we losing sight of the issue in this semantics battle? Won't someone think of the victims in all this! A family ripped apart and the responsible adults thrown in jail.

With the lack of support society offers families when dealing with issues of child rearing it's small wonder that these sorts of mistakes will happen. Why back in their home nation of Africa whole congregations come together to beat children accused of witchcraft in ways that are more measured. With the right counselling from experienced elders the boy could have lived for at least a couple more weeks. This sort of ham fisted DIY work is only to be expected if a family is isolated and fearful in a society of secular God-haters. With another week or two of more measured discipline the boy might have been definitively saved. Instead, he is now dead and the blame lies well and truly with secular do-gooders. They are driving righteous witch hunts underground - as we have seen with cock fighting, disasters happen because of furtive rushed botched jobs.

It pains me to say that in our move to greater levels of civilisation from the jigs we have lost something precious. A more literal appreciation of God's word!
Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

It's simple and unequivocal: we need a state sponsored witch torture program with well established procedures so there is never again another pliers and knife DIY screw up like we see splashed across our press.

This could happen to any one of us! Go carefully, brothers and sisters, should you suspect one of your children.

Re: Nigra Christians persecuted for taking on witchcraft in a Godly way!

That is an excellent point. Why, in my home town alone there are two seperate places where prostitutes can get abortions but I don't think there's a single place where suspected witch children can be dropped off in the entire country.

A national chain of drop in advice centres where learned True Christians can clearly identify whether the child is possessed or not and then take appropriate steps would resolve all of these problems. Because, despite my fears about their church, it seems clear they wanted to do the right thing.

I think my influence in setting up these centres is going to be limited. My own MP is a known adulterer and was, as a child, blinded for some sin I'm not sure of (Isaiah 44:18) so I don't he think will be sympathetic if I write to him.

Re: Nigra Christians persecuted for taking on witchcraft in a Godly way!

I would like to apologize for my unruly behavior on this thread. I have prayed much and come to the realization that my mind got in the way of my heart and clouded my judgement. I want Jesus, I want Him to fill me up completely. With your guidance through the King James Bible, I know that my dream can become reality.

            Sincerely yours in Christ,

              CAUTION: Links to BBC website
Cletus Anaaya has made it his life's work to bring an end to the phenomenon known as Spirit Children.

Spirit Children are children who are considered by many people not to be human; they are thought to be evil spirits and their fate is decided by their parents, the soothsayers and the concoction men who often become their executioners.

Cletus works with a local charity called Afrikids and his job takes him all over this region to meet with soothsayers and concoction men to try to persuade them to stop killing children, but as Sorious discovers, it's a tough job; the tradition is deeply engrained in society.

Cletus takes Sorious to meet his old school master who teaches a class of 8 to 12-year-olds under a tree. When Sorious asks the class what should be done with Spirit Children most of class agrees that they should be killed.

All the people involved in the death of one three year old boy talk candidly to Sorious. The father describes how the child couldn't walk and he began to suspect that he was a Spirit Child. The father consulted the soothsayer who Sorious and Cletus meet.

Finally Sorious confronts the concoction man who killed the child. He tells Sorious that he had to give the child three doses of his concoction before he died. Sorious accuses him of murder but the concoction man says that since the child was not human what he did can not be murder.

Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that . . . but you may have to try a slightly different mission statement.

Instead of, "A national chain of drop in advice centres where learned True Christians can clearly identify whether the child is possessed or not and then take appropriate steps", call it "A national chain of drop-off centres where parents unable to care for their children may leave them, no questions asked, to be cared for and have all their needs met by loving individuals."

Needs include, but are not limited to:

                Food
                Shelter (i.e., confinement)
                Clothing (i.e., uniforms)
                Education (i.e., Bible lessons)
Treatment of spiritual malaise (i.e., exorcism)
Assistance with gender identity issues (i.e., homo-reparative therapy)
                Bible boring? Nonsense!
