This is a lot of press these days about football star Tim Tibow. You may recall Tim from his football days when he was on his knees praying during the game. Some atheist coaches wanted him to study the opposition while on the bench instead of praying. I'm now beginning to question his Christian credentials.

His new girlfriend is Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters. She is from South Africa and was named Miss Universe.

We know Christian white people ruled South Africa for generations until the Negro communist, Nelson Mandela, finally got out of prison. It was logical for the press to ask Nel-Peters about her racial history.

Her answer was that she is "European". Europeans are white people. I'm skeptical that she is a pure blooded European:

I think that there is a clue in her name: Demi... That means "half" in Latin.

Well, the other half of the name (-Leigh) is a boy's name. I don't want to speak out of turn, but it sounds as though the parents were hedging their bet there.

Don't some of those pageanteers spray themselves?
Considering her African origins and the way language was used there to distinguish different (real or imagined) nations, a response "I'm European" could be intended to show a type of group identity.
Again, whether real or imagined is a moot point.
