I'm sorry, but these are the first I've heard about these rumors. No one in our church is spreading any rumors about you since you are not a part of our community.

However, whoever is spreading rumors against you is nothing but a hellbound backbiter (Romans 1:30) and I hope they stop immediately.

I feel SO stupid again. Me clicking new posts, just quickly see that general topic about rumors and answering without even checking the forum section to be Landover Today. I feel like I had spit Jesus in the face I think too little and what I think is just me me me.

Maybe the Other rumor about me always acting before thinking is true. Although I swear the boy I hit was trying to pickpocket me, fruit selling was just a disguise. The stick wasn't so big, I mean he didn't even need intensive care. And the mother is ok, still limping a bit but she CAN walk.

But now I'm starting to ramble like Mari does. Please accept my sincere apology. I try to be more careful next time.

I think I could send your church a little compensation from using your valuable bandwidth, I have in my possession a suitcase full of mixed value American money I got from my last business trip to Russia (selling Bibles etc). Would a 10% be ok compensation?

Rumor: I am the ex-lover to whom Alanis Morissette directed "You Oughta Know".

False. As Alanis has said many times, this song is directed to a COMPOSITE of her ex-lovers. This song is no more about me than about David Coulier and/or Norman Mailer.

        Also NOT about me:
        "Shoop" by Salt-N-Peppa
The Walking Dude in Steven King's The Stand
        Minnie the Moocher
"You're So Vain" by Carly Simon

        Probably is about me:

        "Whatta Man" by Salt-N-Peppa

I have also heard whispers that you were the inspiration behind 'Dancing Queen'. I cannot tell you who told me though.

Re: Can we please stop with the viscious rumors?

Now we all know I would never be one to perpetuate one of these heinous and viscous rumors, but I have heard one recently that was cause for alarm and have decided to post it here so the target of this rumor can dispel it himself.

Word about town and around the water cooler recently has been that Mr. H. Montague Worthington uses starving African children who are no longer fit to be tested with experimental prescription drugs as fuel on his trans-African cross-continental trips via rail. Now we all know Mr. Worthington has a train and often visits the continent to keep tabs on his various business endeavors, various heads of state instrumental in his business dealings, and to hunt big game, but the idea that he is actually throwing small children onto a fire (possibly while smoking a cigar that was lighted by a $100 bill) is simply too much for me to accept.

If anyone can shed light on this it would be a weight off my chest.

Not true. I have personally seen him lighting his cigars with $50 bills.

This point is under active litigation, and I cannot comment further.

Frankly, I'm shocked that just because I confided in a few people and let them know my trailer was about to repossessed and I'd have to find some way to raise some money that this horrible rumor would start up.
Sometimes, our pasts come back to haunt us... I'm sure they'll eventually get the picture, and stop accusing you of going back to your old ways. Just hang in there!

                    It must be difficult...

King David had a young woman to keep him warm. Maybe, if you have a young woman to keep you warm, your joints won't be so stiff; and you can use your hands more... not to mention you'll be able to do all kinds of home improvement jobs around the house!

Well, if we're talking about vicious rumors... I can't believe people say this sort of thing about me, it's just so sick and unfounded, but I did NOT take a maid by the name of Juanita off of Bobby-Joe's hands back in 2007 and she has NOT spent the last four years locked in my Eve's Curse shack!

I can only sympathise with you all brethren.

As for myself, I can truly say there are NO vicious rumours about me pertaining to the present day of the last 12 years.

Any that have circulated are from my sordid, violent and alcoholic past. And are probably true.

                        Thank you.
