Ok, I know this is an old thread. But I have battled drugs for almost 20 years. Ill be 32 in 2 weeks. Heres a quick testimony (written in December last year, I was baptized in October 2016.


Guys, im 31 and just stopped using drugs 2 months ago because I turned to Jesus. I have taken over 1000 hits of LSD and eaten pounds of mushrooms, and had quite a few (20-30) dmt experiences. I spent 10 years of my life being a "hippie love" guy smokin weed and drinkin beers, and eating every pill known to man, Ive shot MDMA, meth, heroin, ketamine, and every other thing I could melt in a spoon, and let me tell you what it got me, NOTHING. Fake happiness. The entities you encounter ARE fallen angels, you ARE in another dimension and they will try and convince you that everything is one and you are the universe and are of the universe, (they want you to believe in evolution) Ive seen an entity morph from a small bacteria to a fish to an ape then a human then to things I really cant describe with words. Then they tell you theres so much more you dont understand....blah blah blah ANYTHING to keep you from the truth. The truth is Jesus died for your sins and you either accept him and live for Him by turning from your sin, or reject Him and live for yourself in sin and die and be eternally separated from Him. I was tricked for over 10 years thinking this was true spiritual enlightenment, when all it is Biblically is sorcery and spiritual darkness. The Bible prohibits it, so im DONE with it. And I can honestly say my life is 100% better now that the drugs are out of it. Stay away from DMT, cause the spirit realm is real, and its filled with the fallen angels on this world. Ive also seen friends permanently wind up in mental wards cause of DMT. Im waiting to see real angels in heaven, all my relatives that have passed on, and meet God, not serve satan and burn forever. And as far as this world, I could have a new Ferrari if id have saved HALF the money I spent on drugs. Anyways, just my 2 cents.

Now, this is why I registered and am responding. What I have seen here is the reason people DONT become Christian. I have seen labels that obviously the admins added such as:

In my drug years, I labeled myself bisexual because of lust, and once saved I realized this, and do not practice the activity anymore. Labeling someone just hardens their belief that their sin is ok. Use the love of Christ and His teachings to lead one away from the sin, dont LABEL them.)

Unsaved trash, Islamofascist demon (I believe islam is a demonic religion, and the quran a demonic revelation, but why not use LOVE to teach rather than LABEL a man a demon? Will that make him think more of Christians? I think not! We may be the only Bible he ever reads!)

Unsaved trash, rabid eskimo (all these have used "trash" referring to unsaved people, which is WRONG! God loves them! He wants them to repent! Did Jesus call anyone TRASH?)

Unsaved trash, Arrogant Atheist Dick (Not to mention the obscene language, yes some atheists are arrogant (most, actually) but again, is labeling them a d*ck a Christian response? Would Jesus use that terminology?


Then we have labeled "True Christians" saying things like this:

Are you getting pleasure that a man may be burning in hell? Im sure not. A LOT of comments here seem that there is some kind of satisfaction in this mans death and your "assurance" he is in hell. How do you know he didnt convert before death? You may owe an apology in heaven for this remark, as only GOD knows a mans heart!

Now I am no saint, I found this site because I am still struggling to not use LSD, as sometimes I think it has spiritual benefits, as I was an ARDENT atheist until a trip of about 25 hits, and I realized the spiritual realm is REAL, (knowing I was channelling demons, etc) and decided that I would change my behavior, and I read the sermon on the mount (on acid in my old dusty old Bible my mom had sent me in the mail) and CRYED and decided it was time to stop the drug abuse (which was IV heroin and meth at the time) and i went through HELL to stop, then moved to get away from the sources, and got in a church and was baptized. So in a way, this "evil mans" invention may have SAVED me from hell. Im not going to say its ok at ALL, but God has a reason for everything. I DO believe it is a form of sorcery and sinful. After reading this thread though, it made me sad, because I believe being a Christian is ALL about LOVE, and I see a lot of hateful, mean spirited remarks here, and anyone that makes light of or acts HAPPY that a man may be burning in hell REALLY bothers me. Some of the "true Christians" here need to learn to LOVE. Well thats off my chest, God bless.

If you read it in context, God gave His chosen people land that had previous inhabitants on it. Therefore, His chosen people had to get rid of all that previous inhabitants in order to rightfully occupy the land - kinda like we had to get rid of the Indians when God gave us America.

True, to society today is much smarter about these things, so since a flat out segregation is not allowed by law, we always find a way to either discriminate against minorities (such as telling people with African American sounding names that there are no more rooms in our AirBNB), or incarcerating them at much higher rates that we do to white people for the same type of offense - which screws up their opportunities for life. In one sense you are correct. Exodus does say the kidnapper is to be put to death.

Exodus 21:16 And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

But as you can see in the section I highlighted in red to compensate for your poor reading skills, those people often were sold. This was not indentured servitude, but actual slavery.

Furthermore, the Bible gives ample provision for the acquisition of slaves, particularly of the virginal female kind, during times of war.

The dietary laws were abolished sometime after Jesus' death and resurrection (and therefore not because of Jesus's sacrifice). It's described in Acts. You really need to read the Bible sometime.
