Well there's your problem, friend. God does not wish to share your affections with your idols and other loves. He is a Jealous God and demands your 100% full attention and devotion to be on Him alone (Exodus 34:14; Deuteronomy 4:24). He is very possessive of this affection and will punish you and yours for failure to comply (Exodus 20:5; Joshua 24:19; Ezekiel 23:25). You were, as a matter of Biblical fact, created for one purpose and one purpose only - to bring Him Glory (Isaiah 43:6-7; 48:9-11; Romans 9:17). You do this by fearing and obeying Him (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Everything else will come together according to His perfect plan, when you capitulate your sin nature to His Divine Will (Proverbs 3:6; 16:3). Because you have decided to whore out your affections to whatever religious fancy comes your way with promises of emotional bliss, your prayers for healing have been Righteously ignored (John 9:31; Deuteronomy 1:45; Proverbs 15:29; 28:9; Isaiah 1:15). This is your fault, and the suffering of your child is God's wake-up call to you both (Deuteronomy 4:36; 8:5; 2 Samuel 7:14). Will you continue to ignore Him and His Righteous demands for your undivided worship? Or will you acknowledge your sin before Him, beg for mercy, and accept the conditions by which Salvation is freely given? If you choose Salvation, we can help.

God has my full attention there is nothing in the bible that says thou shalt not take from other faiths that which is good. I have a wife and also friendships with other women, does that make me an adulterer. As for God making my child suffer if I saw him as that type of God I would reject him.
During the famine 1985 in Africa Bob Geldoff said "don't blame God, blame man", I do not blame God for my daughters illness but man for his ignorance, arrogance, short sightedness and thinking he is better, when all are created equal in the image of and the eyes of God.
Or as one man said to me "how can you go to church when religion is responsible for many wars" my reply "it is not religion but bigoted religious leaders and sheeplike followers" he couldn't answer.

It seems you've never actually read the Holy Bible. The Bible says to love the LORD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength (Deuteronomy 6:5). If you love other gods, your whole heart, soul, and strength are not directed fully towards Him.

Clearly not, as you are still drawn towards Him. It's your soul reaching out for Him.

He couldn't answer because he doesn't take his faith seriously. He doesn't know where to go for answers. He's just going through the motions he was conditioned to go through, likely since childhood. You don't have to follow like a blind sheep, though. You can take your faith seriously. You can learn what Jesus has in store for your life.

This is your underlying problem. You cherry-pick only those bits of the Holy Bible which appeal to you, add to them whatever bits of Buddhism take your fancy this week, throw in Ganesh-worship and maybe a bit of Zoroastrianism for good measure, celebrate Hanukkah and claim you are drawing the best from this hodge-podge of confusion. By whose standards? Not God's, I suspect.

Or you weren't listening. But think about your so-called faith and take a guess.

I am a believer in my own way and as yet God appears to have found nothing wrong with it, in fact some of my experiences seem to suggest he is with me.

A believer in what, though? By your own standards, God certainly does seem to have found something wrong with it, if He has failed to heal your daughter. As for experiences which "seem to suggest" that He is with you, I suspect confirmation bias may be at work here.

Very insightful findings there, brother.

In Christian Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), we fight the evils of psychiatry, including people who use psychiatry as an excuse to chew pills and not work.

Most so called psychiatric excuses to not work simply boils down to this: "Being too f**king lazy or unable to drive and then complaining about how they can't go anywhere. Also expecting their friends (if they can get any) or family members to drive them f**king everywhere!"

Another excuse that we are truly offended by is fibromyalgia (also known as fatsomyalgia). People with fibromyalgia are often emotionally bound to the disease, and loves their clumsiness, fat, ache and abscesses more than they love Jesus. If someone offer them even secular methods to cure it like methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), start running, cutting down on sugarcoating and going the the gym, they refuse because they are so bound the the disease. Instead, they will usually whine (which is the only thing they are good on) on so called "fat shaming".

Emotional binding to a disease is actually a type of demon possession.

Contrary to what social justice warriors believe, intellectual and physical defects are not something to be proud of, and they need to accept Jesus Christ to get rid of their demons.

Where is the biblical evidence that ME is sin or sloth or any other illness for that matter?

If ME was an excuse for not working, don't you think God would have put that in the Bible? Read the verses on laziness and hard work again. They don't make any exceptions for ME.

There are no good things in other religions to draw from. I think you've essentially invented your own religion, simply taking the bits you like best from other religions without even caring about whether any of it is true, as long as it makes you happy. True Christianity(tm) is all about following the Bible, even the bits you don't like, no matter the cost to yourself or your loved ones.

Lk 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

There are parts of the Bible I don't like, but I know it's true because it says so (Jn 17:17b), so I just do what it says.

So you interpret all the good things that happen as a sign of God's favour yet ignore all the bad things (such as having a daughter with ME) as being a sign of His displeasure. I bet the followers of every false religion do that to deceive themselves.
