It's not really an excuse to be lazy if you have cfs, because it is real. And because of my condition, I quit my job and trying to understand how to live my life with it. I dont have enough money to under go treatment or for medication, but I did some research and I have read many articles about cannabis and how it can help you in terms of chronic pain, bone injuries, eating disorder/anorexia, anxiety disorders and panic attacks, inflammation, even cancer and a lot more. Like this article ***a link containing psychedelic kiddie porn removed by moderator***. Cbd and thc are also new to me and I don’t even smoke. Alternatively, they’ve also found new ways to infuse cannabis on food and beverages. If this is true I can’t find any solid conclusive evidence that speaks to its efficacy. I was feeling tired, and one of my so-called friends tried to tell me I had chronic fatigue syndrome. When I told my husband that, he spanked me and told me that if I ever tried that again, he would make me *wish* I did have that made up disease! It worked, and I've never been lazy again in my life. Sorry, I shortened the quote because it was so long. I'm not saying that there are some psychosomatic disorders out there. There definitely are, but Orthostatic Intolerance is real. It's been proven and it is something I would call nuts if it weren't for the fact that I also suffer from a variant of this condition. I have stroke level blood pressure upon standing, high heart rate, and it remains this way until I sit back down. All documented many times at the docs. On meds, I still have a spike, but not enough to cause dizziness and shortness of breath. The other side of this coin are those who have a severe drop in blood pressure when they stand up and it causes them to faint. This is very real and it can be treated in a lot of cases with sodium and intravenous fluids. I wouldn't call pain and fatigue laziness either. Due to a badly damaged leg and heart from huge blood clots that I had for six months, I suffer a lot. I go to work sometimes with full on flu-like symptoms and am so sore I have to literally fight to get my job done. As a consequence, I only work part time. I cannot tell you what day I will be able to go into work and rock and roll and work like a machine (just like I used to when I worked 12 hour days in the factory, and 24 hour straight driving days as a truck driver)!


One day It takes 5 hours of labor to be completely jacked up to the point where I feel and walk like a 90 year old man, and another day I wake up like this and still go to work, just work slower and take more time. I have a job where I show up and do my job however long it takes (I am paid a set amount of hours and that is it whether I work shorter or longer). If the work is not done properly, the customer will call in and complain. In 1 year of service, I have had zero complaints. I even went to work with failing kidneys, 2 weeks of intermittent severe gallbladder attacks, to the point of not even being safe to drive. On the last day before hospitalization, I was close to collapsing with very low kidney function from throwing up and not eating or drinking. I had to take 30 unplanned days off of work due to the surgery to remove the gallbladder and the recovery time. Being super man and fighting illnesses does not make it go away or make you a man. I wish I could have the body I had before the blood clots and go back to being a full time truck driver. But it appears as if God needed to allow this to happen in order to get my attention and get my life moving in another direction.


Diabetes is real, I have it. I have 150 blood sugar in the morning even on days when I eat no carbs or sugar. Sleep apnea is real, I have that as well. Enlarged heard from it being overworked from huge blood clots blocking the arteries in the lungs is real and causes issues. But I do agree some illnesses can be spiritual in nature and an attack on the person for not living right. But to say it all comes from laziness. That is simply not the case.

Thank you for not smiting my children, even the really obnoxious ones who are trying to turn my hair gray (you know the ones I'm talking about)! As a small businessman, I can tell you one of my biggest expenses is LAZY EMPLOYEES TRYING TO DODGE AN HONEST DAY'S WORK. And there is no bigger excuse than "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome," the official-sounding "Medicalese" name for "I feel like sitting on my ass today and collecting a paycheck as some kind of God-given right for being a lazy waste of space." Lazy sick days are like the scourge of so-called "Unemployment Insurance"-- a lavish, prepaid vacation for freeloaders. Claiming a medical reason is just another way to get government involved in the sacred contract between an employee and the employer. And Big, Intrusive Government (BIG) does not solve anyone's problems; it merely subsidizes them.

Ever notice that people who claim to be afflicted with "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" are also fat and ugly? That's because losers who never gained the admiration or attraction of others (not to mention the grace of a loving yet vengeful and smiting God) will always come up with an EXCUSE for their horrible physcial and character disfigurement.

I would like to ask you what your opinion is on people who need pain medication in order to function. I have chronic pain and could work more hours on meds. Now that they are cutting everyone off, I have had to cut back on my hours. I have an understanding boss and he gives me all the smaller jobs that no one wants. I have no real supervision, no time card, I just show up after 5 PM, clean one of the many buildings I am assigned to and never have any complaints. I have only missed 1 day in a years time except for the 30 days for a failing gallbladder. I used to work 12 hours a day 5 days a week and sometimes 24 hours straight driving. I'm no stranger to work, but once they body goes out, it is gone. You can still work, but you're never going to be like you once were without a miracle from the Lord.


I was so bad before my Orthostatic Intolerance was diagnosed that I could not even handle standing in line at the DVT to wait for 30 minutes to renew my commercial drivers license. I just gave it up. Then 3 months later I discovered why I was feeling like death every time I was on my feet. I had 170/120 and higher BP with a heart rate of 150 BPM when standing. I had been out of work for a while battling blood clots that to this day leave my right leg only functional at 50 percent. I can't walk fast, cannot run, have to use my arms to lower to the toilet, have to limp up and down stairs with my left leg only. My right leg cannot support my body sufficiently to climb no matter how much I try and exercise it. The strength and function had been gone for over seven years now. I can only handle part time heavy work as a janitor. But I think I can re-train for a desk job though. So that is what I will be doing eventually. You need college for that, so I will go back to college. Does that make me lazy because I can no longer push a mop around? I used to drive from LA to Detroit in 47 hours. Got some sleep in there too. Then from Detroit to Louisiana non-stop after 4 hours of sleep in a parking lot. I was the highest earning driver for the small company I worked for. I worked for 6 months straight before I took a few days off at home. But when your body fails you, you can fight all you want, you will never be what you once were. I am living proof of that.
