My Grampy is in that picture! He’s 4th from the right on the front row. I recognize those garments he used to wear up until his funeral. Grampy was buried in those robes. I sorely miss him now.

Oh, my heavenly stars, Miss Maxine! I had no idea that my father and your Grampy knew each other. Daddy used to remark on how close the Klanship was, so I'm sure they enjoyed each other's company and fellowship very much. Not everything promoted by churches stems from God. For example in Spain idolatrous hordes overran the place forcing their agenda at swordpoint, preaching a different gospel and establishing what they thought was a bridgehead.

It wasn't; they were deluded then and remain deluded today. But some of the horror rubbed off. They brought an idol and took it with them when they left but the abomination of carved images (or cast or forged or ceramic) remained.

Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Idols proliferated. As Paul observed, false gospels may include some sort of made up Jesus and purport to be delivered by an angel. The acid test however is whether it is consistent. Say a few centuries go by and someone spouts off the biggest trough-load of garbage you ever heard or saw, even declaring that an angel delivered the stuff directly from Heaven. Apart from the question of why angels appearing with critical messages from Heaven would use narrowcasting when a whole sky is available to them, how should the message be judged?

And it's a very easy answer. IS THE MESSAGE CONSISTENT? Well, is it? Very early sources are available for The New Testament. There may be a few pages missing here and there in some of them, nevertheless what we read has not changed. People introduced new material later on which was identified and rejected. Jesus Christ was born and sacrificed to set us free from sin. He rose from the dead. He explained about true beliefs and how we should live. Jesus is God.

Later material, some of it much later, proposes a different Jesus and claims The Bible to have been corrupted. When was it corrupted? By whom? The earliest documents are unchanged from what we have today. Although they were ejected from Spain one of their ideas, the one about worshipping an idol in the precise manner condemned by God, seems to have hung on. How could this be? Paul, writing to the Corinthians, expressed just such a concern.

II Corinthians 11:3-4 I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Whatever historical affiliation there was with Christianity the links are tenuous indeed on the Iberian peninsular today. Perhaps they've kept some of the clothing but weeping over a bit of carved wood? No Christian would ever do that or even have a lump of wood to fawn over in the first place. God was very clear not to associate with different peoples having different beliefs for a reason.

Surely there can not be so few as twenty-six forms of moral decrepitude? The alphabet is insufficient to represent them all but God makes it very clear how they ought to be regarded. There's no shortage of people making up a deity who loves the homosexuals (He doesn't: He thinks they should be killed) and it mystifies me why they bother to refer to God or Jesus at all? If they are so determined to contradict Him and act in ways that revolt Him, why would they even want to see. a Church let alone go inside one?

Such ideas pervert the Gospel of Christ and the Jesuses invented are certainly "other" but even so there are very specific passages addressing this. They are so well known to any actual Christian, it's unnecessary to post in full.

I’d be pleased if you wouldn’t defame my Grampy. He did great work in several Christian communities. By doing so, you are also defaming Isabella White’s father since they were in the same group. Slander can have many implications just so you are aware as well. Psalms 101:5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. be sure not to slander others unless it’s proven facts (most preferably by Bible verses).

Dear Mr. Collinslaw: I've read through the recent postings in this thread, and I see that you have sought to cause some strife to the memory of our dear sister, Miss Maxine. I must remind you that Miss Maxine, her Pa, and her Grandpa (known affectionately as "Grampy") all shared the same Godly principles and beliefs, as taught in the . Their love and desire to serve the led them to participate on many groups, including various church-related activities as a means of outreach to the lost souls who shall perish in for eternity.

While I have not had the pleasure of knowing these fine people, until recently meeting Miss Maxine, it is my understanding that my father (a Godly Pentecostal preacher) was a member of the same group as Miss Maxine's grandfather. For you to make such a statement about her grandfather leads me to feel that you would have said similar judgemental things about my own dear father. I would like you to know how dearly my father loved the , and I know the same can be said of Miss Maxine's family. Your statement has not gone unnoticed, and even the has had something to say about this:

Dear Sister Maxine: My heavenly stars, are you OK, my Dear? I was shocked when I read the terrible statement that has caused you such grief. I've posted a message in response to the writer of the mockery and defamation. As you have noted, that abrupt intrusion pertains also to my father. Fear not, dear Sister. Our knows that we, and our families, (as believers) know that serving our will often mean dealing with some devilish bumps in the road to Heaven. But, we can take comfort in knowing that we are loved and protected by the One true .

Something I noticed in your photo was the lack of idols. Even the Pentecostalists have understood God's Strict Commandment on that topic. European popery became so repugnant that many souls (the ones who weren't murdered) escaped while they could. Some areas were able to free themselves from that tyranny but in many places it grew to monstrous proportions. Freed from the curse of idols America prospered and your photo even shows some of the clothing worn in the new land. More than just the white is available but under the yoke of idol worship and what immense idolatry it is. In Europe. Not in America. My short clip showed some of the styles available and also showed the idols paraded. God describes such events in very negative terms. Anyone desperate to see the video again can click the button but I won't repost it, just a couple of snaps showing the garments. The level of idolatry is extreme, worse than many places in India or Bali where processions go on all the time. More of them probably but less overdone.

Oh, thank you for mentioning this, Sister Mitza. You are so right. The Pentecostalisticism people are very strict when it comes to not having anything to do with idols. That's partly why they have services with snakes, to show the Victory of the over such debauchery and idolatry. Now, of course we know that the Cathyolicks are still carrying on with their worship of clay figures and such. Even when the good smites them with great warnings, they still ignore him, even though the so clearly condemns idolizing statues.

Amen, dear Sister Maxine, Amen. I know that you will remain strong and dedicated in the service of the , even though you were persecuted because of your dear Grampy's service unto . But, we must also remember that our blessed told us there would be days like that.
