We understand that friend. We Christians have looked into the FRPG phenomena. Our research has shown that the average roll game player chose as a character an angst filled whinny elf vampire girl in a miniskirt. We good and true Christians note most roll playing game art is of an angst filled, whinny elf vampire girls stabbing each other in the stomach with over sized swords or wrestling with werewolves. Roll playing games are no more evil than homosexuality, transvestitism and Satanism.

No, if your child wants to make believe he is a girl going around raping his friends using occult powers that makes him an evil, homosexual Satanist. A good gamer would fantasize about going around proselytizing the unsaved.

Roll playing games are no more evil than homosexuality, transvestitism and Satanism.

In other words, not evil at all, since homosexuality and transvestitism are not evil, and Satan doesn't exist.

Rape is a crime - of course I don't endorse violence.
Rape fantasy, on ther other hand, is something that several members of LBC seem to enjoy immensely. As long as they don't act on it, you can't do anything about people's fantasies, no matter how violent they may be.

I see nothing wrong with reol-playing games, especially if they allow people to vent their frustrations in a safe setting. I'd much rather see someone get rid of their pent-up hostility by rolling a die that says they killed someone with a magical dart than have them go out and kill a real person with a real weapon.

The question was whether they are EVIL.

Fantasizing about breaking God's Law is inherently EVIL, and SINFUL.

Fantasizing about raping someone's daughter is inherently evil. Why? Because raping someone's daughter and not following God's Law (paying the fifty shekels required by God's Law and marrying said daughter) is STEALING, which is forbidden!

These games encourage teenagers to fantasize about raping, stealing, and murdering, and are predicated on belief in ridiculous fantasy creatures and fairy tales about vampires, werewolves, fairies, fire-breathing dragons, magical unicorns, and all sorts of other superstitious nonsense.

Finally, the games direct teens' attention away from Heaven, the place where True Christians(tm) may worship and serve God for eternity, and onto bizarre and perverse fantasies having nothing to do with the real world.

Such things lead directly to Hell, the place of eternal torture created by God for those who turn their backs on Him.

Nonsense. Fantsizing is not, in itself, harmful to anyone, including your deity.

Rape is not theft, it's rape. It's forcing a person to submit to sexual intercourse against his/her will. You can't make it legit by offering to buy or marry the victim.

Of course they're evil! Although I hate his books, I do like this quote from Nathaniel Hawthorne: "No man... can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which one may be true."

Pretty soon, these role players are going to forget which face their wearing, and may just sink a silver Dagger into your back when you're not looking.
