Between the vegetables I grow and the food I get from our local farmers' market, we eat quite well without having to go into debt for groceries.

Because it is good for the economy you commie. Better to borrow a $100 from a bank to spend it at Wallmart and keep all those people employed and their stock is good than giving $20 to some hippy who likes maggots crawling over his crops. I wouldn't shop at Wal-Mart if I were dying and they had the last dose of the cure.

I prefer to give my money directly to the person who grew the food if possible - let him reap the financial benefit of his labors.

That's why I have a debit card - I don't have to carry cash or coins, the money comes directly out of my checking account, and if it's lost or stolen, I can cancel it with a phone call and not lose any of my money.

This is apparently a famous rapper/actor and his legally wedded wife, "Ice T" and "Coco."

I recently read part of an interview (after Mr. Thyme used the cut-and-paste) with "Coco" online, and one line of it was especially relevant and, to me, touching. It was her response to a question about their pet names for each other:

"I call him Baby Poo. He calls me, 'Bitch, get over here.' "

This, to me, is what a Christian marriage is all about.
