Saddam Hussein's former deputy is hanged
By QASSIM ABDUL-ZAHRA, Associated Press Writer

BAGHDAD - Saddam Hussein's former deputy, hanged before dawn in what was once Iraq's military intelligence headquarters, was buried Tuesday near the ousted dictator who died on the same gallows less than three months ago.

Taha Yassin Ramadan, who was Saddam's vice president, went to the gallows on the fourth anniversary of the start of the war in Iraq for the deaths of 148 Shiites in the town of Dujail.

Bassam al-Hassani, an adviser to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, said the execution went smoothly, although Ramadan appeared frightened and recited the two shahadahs — a declaration of faith repeated by Muslims — "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Prophet."

Al-Hassani said precautions were taken to prevent a repeat of what happened to Saddam's half brother and co-defendant Barzan Ibrahim, who was inadvertently decapitated on the gallows during his January execution.

Ramadan, who was nearly 70, was weighed before the hanging and the rope was chosen accordingly, al-Hassani said.

    GLORY!!

Now that Ramadan-- the killer of Kurds, the slayer of Shiites, the.... demon of Dujail, the tempest of Tikrit, the monster of Mosul, the... uh... the butcher of Basrah, the the... the... the... uh... the evildoer of the Euphrates, the uh.... beret-wearer of Baghdad-- is dead, it's only a matter of time until things turn around in Iraq. We're turning the corner, we're making progress, we're encouraging the Iraqis to stand up so we can stand down, we're seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, we're ramping up to ramp down, we're over the top of the mountain, we're through the darkest part of night, we're near the dawn of a new day, we're coming up on coming around, we're building a tower of trust, we're communicating our desire for improvement, we're handing them a hand up, we're bullyfloxing the moat, we're inaduring the arkitronic mixup, and gollylagging the full-tilt floateringram!!!! What I'm saying is we done good, double-plus good!!

Look at him. Just look at him. There's pure evil in those eyes. Look how he wears that beret-- evil, I tell you!! Have you ever seen a more disgusting person more worthy of hanging? He's a monster!!

    GLORY!!!

P.S. I would like the delicious liver if it hasn't been spoken for.

    Godly points Brother, Godly points.

We can be sure the only thing that keeps the Iraqi Jihadist Sunni and Shiit going is the thought that one day they could return Saddam and his cronies to power. Now in one stroke Jesus has removed that hope. The Iraqis will now have to face the fact that they are a free people now and get over their longing for the oppressive dictatorship they flourished under.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Here's the traditional Iraqi way of serving fava beans with that liver, Monty:

3 pounds unshelled young fresh fava beans
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
      2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
      1/3 cup water
      black pepper, freshly ground
      salt

      1. Shell the beans and wash in cold water.
      2. Cook the onion in the oil until it becomes translucent. Stir in beans and pepper. Add water and simmer, covered, on low heat for 8 to 10 minutes if the beans are young and tender, or up to 15 minutes if the beans are larger and tougher. Add extra tablespoons of water if necessary. When the beans are tender, add salt, and cook for a few more minutes uncovered until the last of the water has evaporated.

You can sanctify the Iraqi-ness out of the beans by dousing them in Tabasco sauce (which, in my opinion, won't hurt the liver any, either, although that's a matter of taste).
