    Iran test-fired dozens of missiles, including the Shahab-3 that can reach Israel, in military maneuvers Thursday that it said were aimed at putting a stop to the role of world powers in the Persian Gulf region.
    The show of strength came as Iran remains locked in dispute with the West over its nuclear program, which Washington says is geared to producing atomic weapons but Tehran says is only for generating electricity. The maneuvers came three days after U.S.-led warships finished naval exercises in the Gulf that Iran branded as "adventurist."
    In Israel, Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer said he was not surprised by the missile tests, and warned that to leave Iran unchecked would pose a risk to the world.
    "Iran is following a direct line after North Korea. Therefore this problem is not Israel's but that of the entire world," Ben-Eliezer said, referring to North Korea's recent nuclear test and its frequent launches of long-range missiles.
    Iran's Shahab-3 missile, which can carrying a nuclear warhead and is said to have a range of more than 1,250 miles, is believed to be based on a North Korean missile design, although Iran denies this.
    The Iranian missile tests "should bother not only Israel. It should bother the Arab countries, Islamic countries, the Gulf region, North Africa and Europe. We are always warning the world about this phenomenon called Iran," Ben-Eliezer said.

We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.



    God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

    I am reminded of an old American saying: "Don't count your chickens till the eggs have hatched." As election day approaches, I am increasingly concerned that by some odd chance (barring Diebold) the Democrats do win, instead of a Godly rapture, we might experience Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi giving the USA to that bunch of towell heads! Then instead of rapture, we will all be thrown into a Hellish world of rude cab drivers with curry breath!

      Where is your Faith? I have every confidence that Jesus and George Bush will come through this election with an increased majority in both houses. In fact, I'm so sure of it, that, having searched through the Holy KJV 1611 and found no prohibition on gambling, I've taken my entire tithe down to my local bookmaker and bet it all on the Republicans to make big gains. I can't wait to see the look on that filthy secular bookie's face when I take piles of cash off him for Jesus! I would wholeheartedly encourage every member of this Godly congregation to do the same.

        Excellent idea Brother T! My local bookie is a degenerate jew, so it will be especially sweet to take all that money off his slimy hands.

                  I myself am so sure Jesus will win this next election I have had 15,000 Nancy Pelosi figurines made. They have her bent over under an elephant ridden by President Bush waving a ten gallon hat like the Texan he is and holding a banner that says "Thus always to traitors". They should be selling like hot cakes November the 12th.
