Does it matter how we praise the LORD?

If that were true you would have to praise God literally exactly as they did hundreds of years ago. the type of music you probably use to worship in your church (and I'm just guessing here based on the Baptist churches I have visited) is probably bluegrass gospel. bluegrass is not inherently gospel, and descended from Scottish folk music, jazz, and tin pan alley song structure.

I don't disregard any of it. I don't think it matters what kind of instrument is used to praise God, though, and read nothing in that article, scripture or otherwise that convinced me. Would you mind offering your opinion on the other part of my post?

These two sentences are not compatible.

3Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

4Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. - Psalms 150: 3 - 5

Yes, we use instruments that GOD favors in our church.

They did not have some of the instruments available today, so how could they have listed them? Electric guitars are stringed instruments. Why then is is wrong to praise God using rock song structure than is non violent and non abrasive?

You seem to be quite flippant about choice of instrument. Are you similarly flippant about His word?
