How do you propose this is accurate? What PHYSICAL evidence do you have of this? I mean, First of all, if there is a god (which I am NOT disputing) why would he have his "holy message" delivered to you in the form of a novel? And the fact that he only told a SELECT FEW PEOPLE is also troubling. What would have happened if those people died? If there is a god, why is he so unbelievably stupid?

The Bible is not a novel. It is the word of God.

First, God is not stupid.

Is 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

We cannot comprehend the mind of God. Wouldn't it worry you if we could understand God's ways? Because then we would be in the hands of an equal, and not someone greater.

1 Cor 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Second, you are correct that God reveals himself only to a select few people. It has always been this way. In the Old Testament, He revealed Himself to His chosen people, the Israelites. He gave them the law and the prophets.

Deut 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Rom 3:1-2 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

But the joos broke covenant with God and rejected Christ. Under the New Covenant, God's chosen people is His church.

God chose us even before He created the world 6,000 years ago.

Eph 1:1b, 3-4 To the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.

He didn't choose many.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

And even those of us He chose, it was not because of any noble qualities we possessed.

1 Cor 1:26-29 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.

Third, what happens to those to whom God has not revealed Himself, who are ignorant of God's law and His plan of salvation? The Bible poses this very question.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Luckily for us, Paul answers his own question at the beginning of his book.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

God has given everyone an innate belief in His existence, but many deny this belief in their wickedness. He has revealed Himself to everyone through Creation. In short, these people, who are not among the select few and die before they hear the word, are bound for destruction.

Mat 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

No atheist really has "anything". Any scientific of moral argument that I or you or anyone else can make is refuted easily by the "god made it that way" or responses of the like. I've already answered that from a Biblical perspective here. If you don't like the answer, all I can say is, "Nay but, O man, who are thou that repliest against God?" (Rom 9:20). But why does this make you so indignant? We're giving you God's word right now. We're telling you to get on your knees and repent and put your faith in Christ. So you're not one of those people who has never heard. Whether God chooses now to work in your heart, that's up to Him.

There is NO evidence against God's existence. Nothing motivates me to believe in God. I believe in Him because He gave me the gift of faith.

We get 6,000 years from tallying up the genealogies in the Bible, which is the infallible Word of God. God made light before He made the sun, moon and stars, so your question is irrelevant.
