  • "Food crisis" + Artificial meat = creeping cannibalism!

I suppose by now you've all heard about the rise in food prices around the world, and how the world's lazier classes in the world's lazier nations are using it as an excuse to riot and so on.

And you've probably heard the liberal media bring out their standard scapegoats for the rise in prices: Oil Prices (which were higher during the embargo, disproving that theory) rampant speculation, fallout from the banking crisis, even - most absurd of all, the claim that the Asians are eating more meat.

Yes, I'm not making this up, folks, the liberals are blaming meat for hunger. And of course they're taking advantage of this unfortunate situation, throwing their "bright ideas" at us. If you're brave enough to see the sort of nonsense they're peddling, take a look at this: http://www.new-harvest.org/default.php

Their claim is that "meat substitutes" including meat grown in labratories without having ever been part of an animal, would be more efficient to make than raising animals and eating them.

You'll notice they never mention on the site the REAL reason they are doing this: Cannibalism.

It's illegal to eat somebody's body. But what if you create human flesh in a machine, and then eat it? No doubt their Jew friends, born lawyers like all Christ-killers, helped them find that legal loophole.

Friends, this "world food crisis" is the result of one thing and one thing only - sin. Sinners, proudly sinning, waving their sodomite-feces-and-semen-covered sin in the face of baby Jesus.

Anyone who has read the Bible knows that God rewards prayer and righteousness with bountiful harvests, and punishes sin with famine. In short our fields will give us fruitful harvests once McCain becomes president, the Supreme Court is filed with Godly judges, and all homosexuals are stoned to death and ground into fertilizer, the way the Bible demands.

Food crisis? The delicious platter of Outback Steakhouse Cheese Fries I just warmed up for my two-year-old nephew says otherwise!

What food crisis? I have a 900 sq ft storage room with all kinds of wonderful delicious food. It's like a mini grocery store.

If people are too stupid to stock up and have every imaginable supply on hand, they deserve to starve. DUMMIES!

Now, excuse me, I have to go check on my prime rib stuffed with Horned Owl.

This is just some stupid idea by some no good hippy vegitarians to try to get people to stop hunting animals. I'm sure there will be a market for lab grown meat somewhere. Just not in my stomach.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Re: "Food crisis" + Aritificial meat = creeping cannibalism!

There's just no reason to go "growing" meat, which probably tastes like dry-rot anyway. I say this and I'll explain why.

Until recently, according to Mrs Bathfire’s accounts, the Bathfire household (i.e. Mrs Bathfire and I) was spending a little over $700 a week on food – make no mistake, quality costs and, as my dear departed father used to say, “I’m a poor man, I can only afford the best.”

After sacking three successive servants for suspicion of stealing from the kitchen budget, Mrs Bathfire made her own way to the food store. She found that it was hardly possible to live on $700.

On her return, we discussed the matter (and the matter of selling doves, but that’s another story) and she told me that several other wives had complained that their money was not stretching as far as it should. This gave the appearance of a rise in prices because of a rise in demand elsewhere, and everything seemed more expensive. This meant that the feathers had been ruffled in Mrs Bathfire’s life, and the situation had to be controlled.

Now I emphasize “seemed” because it is only “more expensive” comparatively, i.e. when compared to a fixed budget.

The solution was therefore to up the budget to $1000 a week. Instantly, as a percentage of the budget, the food bill became far cheaper. A new servant or two has been hired and Mrs Bathfire is happy and that is what counts.

So, to any out there who have problems with stretching a budget, the solution is simple, just up your budget.

I upped my budget – up yours!

I think that the liberals, who look for reasons to be offended, incited the people in country of Hatty, or whatever it's called, to riot and get rid of their king. How can there possibly be a food crisis? When I go to the Wal-Mart (which, regrettably, is in one of the less Godly areas of the county), it looks as though the other shoppers should have clearance lights on their butts. Clearly, there's plenty of food to go around.

Re: "Food crisis" + Aritificial meat = creeping cannibalism!

Speaking as someone who has actually been overseas, there is absolutely no food crisis, anywhere. MREs have 1200 to 1750 calories per package and nobody eats just one at a time. In fact, according to pentagon estimates, 61% of the military is overweight. Here in the Green Zone the pakistani cooks are also a bit on the chubby side, no doubt they've been helping themselves to a slice of bacon here and a cube of ham there. You don't get that fat from stealing the occasional freedom fry.

As for those outside the Green Zone, we chuck candies at their kids every time we drive past, and since none of them bother to get jobs, at the end of the day they've got plenty of calories to spare.

Of course there's always the risk of a food crisis. Well, we won't need lab-grown human meat in that case, we already have lots of "meat on the hoof". If a food crisis ever happens, we can just send our criminals/immigrants overseas (after disarming them) and let the locals help themselves. I've heard some of the Asian countries don't do cannibalism any more, but once all the cats and dogs are gone, they will realize that desperate times call for desperate measures.

Britain did the same thing, sending their undesirables to Australia. The only difference is that this time, it won't be a dingo that eats your baby, it will be some African with a weird name like "Barack" and a weirder last name, like "Obama".

Re: "Food crisis" + Aritificial meat = creeping cannibalism!

When I was in my prayer closet, the Lord spoke to me through the following Bible passage:

Matt. 6:31-34 (emphasis added): Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.

If there is indeed a food crisis anywhere in the world, then the caring and compassionate Christian thing to do is to send evangelists to that country to teach them the above Bible passage.

Barack Obama would LOVE to make cannibalism legal, I'll bet!

I see a real silver lining in the food crisis. In fact, I have said a prayer of thanks to The Lord for driving the price of food through the roof all over the world, bringing the poor and people that choose to live The Ne'er-do-well Lifestyle to their knees, weak with hunger and awed by The Power of The Lord(tm).

                  GLORY!!

Now, Step Two is to pray very hard that God will mutate the H5N1 virus into a virulent painful killer that will slaughter hundreds of millions in heathen countries that are a drain on our economy, like Haiti, Venezuela, and Ohio.

I don't think I am missing any big fact in the Bible - all facts are BIG in the Bible and I attend to all:

How do you know that He is not making people starve?
2Sa:21:1: Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.
2Sa:21:2: And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.)
2Sa:21:3: Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?
2Sa:21:4: And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.
2Sa:21:5: And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel,
2Sa:21:6: Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.

The Lord will make His Will and Reason known in the fullness of time. I am not at all sure that it is for us to try and feed anyone - we might be working against His Ineffable Purpose.

Good point, Mother Glynndie. I read in the liberal MSM the other day about a food shortage in the country of Maurypovicha, or whatever it was called. I don't know how anyone can read about such things and still not realize that we, and not the Maurypovichans, are God's favorite country. I guess that the unsaved trash would rather wallow in their outmoded superstitions than open their eyes to the Truth.

P.S. I'll have to go through my wife's coupon folder to see whether we have two of those coupons that I can give to the soon-to-be-betrothed. I don't know how my future son-in-law expects to make it through the day on a few celery sticks and a glass of water.
