Re: The Ten Commandments and their Punishments
Take ye' abo spells away, and leave my brother and I in peace. We have saviors to hand over for small amounts of coins, so we can purchase indulgences to commit heresy against the church, and call God a flamboyant homosexual lover. One should do it right, or will the church want more money?

Who knows? God works in mysterious ways. If I were to make up the rules, no one would be allowed to rape anyone...ever! But I don't make the rule. God does. So, since the saving of girls for raping is IN THE BIBLE, why do you question God's word?

Well said, Sister Talitha. It is a SHAME that America has to be taught about stirct adhearance to scripture by a bunch of mooslims natives. That their "religion" is a trick from Satan doesn't change the fact that 1) their texts respect Jesus and his teaching as a man of God and 2) their "scriptures" stole these punishments straight from the Bible 600 years AFTER Jesus said that these laws should be enforced! When will America, much less the WORLD, figure out that THIS is what the Bible commands us to do?Originally posted by Talitha View PostThose God-fearing folks in peaceful Somalialand have just put the word of their Faith into action by Stoning to Death a Criminal.

Let us remind ourselves:
Thou shalt not commit Adultery.
The Penalty is DEATH.
In a move that puts our American Justice system to shame, a bunch of Darkies have shown how the Word of their Holy Book should be followed to the letter.

Re: The Ten Commandments and their Punishments
I have been waiting to hear back on this, but I feel I am bound to be disappointed since this is the point that all atheists always wander off to never post again. Sure, sometimes they just stop posting for two weeks only to post again on another thread, hoping that we will forget their transgressions. But I never hear a good answer tot his question. It is laughable that it is so easy to stump an atheist!Originally posted by Gabriel Reproba View PostWhoa there, Nelly. How does someone "manipulate" a text through "literal interpretation?" Seriously, think about what you just said for just ONE second.
Lesson learned: When you want an atheist, cathyolick, joo, mooslim, or any other Hell-bound hippie to leave you alone, ask them the following:
"How can a literal reading of the Holy Bible be a "manipulation" of its meaning?"
They don't have an answer to that! SHOUT GLORY!

Preach it Sister! Indeed. In nice, friendly letters.Originally posted by Mistress Cookie View PostOh, please.
If that were the "whole story", why wouldn't God have just written that pithy phrase on a tablet, and saved a lot of trees and reading time?
He chose differently for a reason!

Well said, Mistress Cookie! In fact, why didn't God just write "Be Nice To Each Other!" across the face of all teh planets in the solar system and the Moon? It would be easy to follow and it would have the added benefit of shutting those atheists up because it would PROVE God is real! Instead He found it best to put down REAL rules that MATTER in a Book and ask us to use our FAITH to find Him. He tests us. He is testing you right now. How are you going to do in his test? Will you get an A+ or an F?
