Priest charged with stealing $1 million

A Roman Catholic priest in the United States has been arrested on charges he stole $US1.3 million ($A1.55 million) in church money over seven years to use for male escorts, expensive clothing, and luxury hotels and restaurants.

Connecticut police say the 64-year-old Reverend Kevin J Gray was charged on Tuesday with first-degree larceny.

Gray is the former pastor at Sacred Heart/Sagrado Corazon Parish in Waterbury.

The Hartford Archdiocese last month asked police to investigate after it discovered during a financial review that he might have taken more than a million dollars for personal use.

Gray was Sacred Heart's pastor from January 2003 until April 15, when he was granted a medical leave. He was later suspended but still lives there.

I hate those hypocrites! Again, another example of a false Christian not following the Bible! (Not that ring-kissing papists are Christians in the first place, of course.) How dare he steal from his own church to pay for cars, trips, hookers (in this case male), clothing, and various other luxuries! It really ticks me off to see these phony baloney "Christians" show off their fancy Rolexes, custom Italian suits, and Mercedes-Benzes! A Christian should live modestly.

We all know papists never read the Bible, so it's no wonder he happened to miss Matthew 19:16-24 where Jesus tells the man that he must give away all his possessions to go to Heaven.
