The idea that if you don't know the truth, then there's no point in punishing you, leads to absurd results. Consider a remote island where people have never heard of Jesus. They don't intend to do something bad by not believing in Jesus; they've just never heard of Him. Will they all go to Heaven because they're somehow not accountable for their disbelief? If so, aren't we doing them the biggest disservice imaginable if we obey the Great Commission and send missionaries to that island to teach them about Jesus?

Joh:3:15: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh:3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh:3:17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh:3:18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

So there you are, Christ came so we might, by accepting Him as the Truth, The Way and The Light, have eternal life.

However, if you don’t – and it just doesn’t matter why it is that you do not, then you are condemned: i.e. damned, and that’s it.


Look on it as a lesson in life. Let's say your parents don't tell you to look both ways before crossing the road. You get hit by a car. Are you any less dead than if your parents had told you yet you had ignored them? No.


So there we have it - whether you know and do not follow Christ or whether you have never heard of Him, it's the same - you're roasting.


And don't come whining saying it's unfair. If you have a problem it is with God, and God is not a good person with whom to have a problem, because he always wins.

On the question of Catlik missionaries, apart from fiddling with juvenile natives, they do mention Christ but then mislead the ignorant natives. True Christian Missionaries are the only ones worth sending to foreign parts, if you aim is to save souls.

Then maybe you'll be so kind as to answer the questions in my previous post, using Scripture. You seem to be saying that people who don't know about Jesus cannot be damned for not believing in him. If that were true, then only people who knew about Jesus could be damned. What sort of loving God would set up a rule like that?

We didn't write the Bible; we just believe in it and exhort others to do the same. If you have a problem, then your problem is with God and His Word, not with us.

Most of us were homeschooled or attended a Landover Baptist school, so knowing God was not exactly a reason to be shunned. Anyway, we each have enough of a life that we don't go around to other people's religious websites and make post after post arguing with them and telling them that we don't have lives. Can you say the same?
