so i spent the better part of my morning reading this entire post....page 1-46...I have a few questions

1-why does it matter what color skin Jesus has? If it really did matter wouldn't the Bible make it a point to make it nice and crystal clear that Jesus is indeed (insert color)?

2-doesn't the new testament preach about love and acceptance? what does it matter what race anybody is? on the inside we all look the same. same blood and body. we're all human beings. Jesus said himself "love thy neighbor as yourself". did he say love your white neighbor? did he say love your black neighbor? i didn't read it.

3-why are there so many racial slurs being thrown around by "proper" members? this pretty much goes hand in hand with the above question. if we were to truly love and accept one another we would not sink to the point of throwing racial slurs now would we?

4-why are other members being judged as being a heathen, or going to hell? doesn't that ability to judge reside solely with God the father? Who are you to say So-and-so is going to hell.

5-why are we using MAN MADE art to prove Jesus' color? doesn't it say in Exodus that "You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments."
so then why do you have all these sculptures and paintings and why do you put them in churches and why do you all bow down to them? I'm pretty sure this goes hand in hand with idolatry.

There is a lot more to the New Testament than a few verses about "love and acceptance" taken out of context.

People love to assume that JESUS gives us permission to embrace sin on the grounds of "love and acceptance" but a more thorough reading proves that He does not.

well nothing about loving one another is sinful. i'm not saying love the sins that we commit as humans. i'm saying to love one another like you would love your family. you're not telling me that Jesus is condemning the love of a family are you.

We can at least agree it is wrong and immoral to love your blood family more than JESUS, yes?

So we have established that JESUS has a definition of love and acceptance that is offensive to Him.

There are also admonitions in the New Testament to avoid evildoers and people who do not agree with us:

whoa there buddy.....do not put words into my mouth that were not there in the first place...i am fully aware of the coming wrath and the final judgement day and what is to take place and best believe i know there will be no "flowers and rainbows". And secondly DEFINITELY no not judge me to be thrown into a lake of fire. That judgement lies with God the father alone. what he has in plan for me i do not know. do not think yourself as saved either. you and i are no different.

and yes we can at least agree that our love for God and Jesus must surpass that for the love of our own family. that much i agree with you upon.

now if someone would be kind enough to answer my previous questions, that would be very welcome
