It's normal for politicians to take our suggestions, but this is the first time the Vatican has. After reading about our hispandering strategy of getting spray tans, invading the falkland islands, and electing Latin American despots, the Vatican broke from tradition to choose an Argentinian.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio, today known as Pope Francis, has been said to be a collaborator with the military dictatorship. Apart from the fact the he endorsed the invasion of the Falkland Islands, he's also said to be complicit in torturing his co-workers:
Now, we all know that "respected human rights activist" is a liberal code-word for "Terrorist apologist", and that handing over community activists, (or any worker who disobeys their boss) to a death squad is what any lover of liberty does.
But Francis, or should I say FranSISSY, has denied this, claiming that he was too cowardly to speak out, and that he supported the communists in secret, but he still won't give any details because he's afraid that the undead corpse of Eva Peron will rise from the grave and strangle him* (or something).
This is in direct violation of God's Word as written in the Bible. Since Catholics are too illiterate to read the King James Bible, I'll quote the NIV:
Clarke's Commentary on the Bible says that it means that a person who "refuses to tell what he knows concerning the subject; such a one shall bear his iniquity - shall be considered as guilty in the sight of God, of the transgression which he has endeavored to conceal."
Got that, Mr. "I'm on God's speed-dial" Francis? Are you listening, Mr. "Infallable?' You stayed silent about SOMETHING. Either the Junta was right, and you were employing terrorists, and failed to testify against them at first opportunity, or the liberals are right, and you failed to testify in defence of the innocent. SOMEBODY was committing a heinous crime, and under Biblical Law you can't turn a blind eye.
Leviticus 5:1 says Pope Francis should be punished either as a torturer or a terrorist. Note that it's not just "infallible" Popes who are held up to this standard. EVERYBODY must testify. But why not hold the Pope up to a higher standard? I mean, he claims to be God's spokesmodel, and big claims require big proof.
Pope Francis, you believe you're God's wingman. If a mustard seed's worth of faith can move mountains, (Matt 17:20, Mark 11:23), surely you can utter at least a squeak about your colleagues being tortured. Sure, I'd like to borrow Mt. Everest and the Matterhorn for some backyard skiing too, but first things first, but if my co-workers are being kidnapped and tossed out of aircraft to die, I'd use my powers as God's BBF to at least clear my throat or something!
Photographic proof that Pope Francis could have at least dropped a mountain on the Junta or something.

What did Jorge Mario Bergoglio know, and when did he know it, about Argentina’s brutal “Dirty War” against suspected leftists, in which thousands were tortured and killed? More important, what did the newly chosen Pope Francis do?
When a military junta seized power in Argentina in 1976, Bergoglio — elected Wednesday by the College of Cardinals as the first Latin American to become pope — was the head of the Jesuit order in the country....
At least 10,000, and perhaps as many as 30,000, people suspected of leftist involvement were killed. Victims would be snatched from their homes or places of work, interrogated under torture for weeks or months, and then executed. Some were dispatched by being drugged, loaded into aircraft and shoved out into the wide Rio de la Plata or the Atlantic Ocean to drown.
The church in Argentina, however, was comparatively passive in the face of this horror — some would say complicit. Church leaders never confronted the military regime...or even permit grass-roots activism at the parish level...On the contrary, the church allowed Argentina’s ruling generals and admirals to cloak themselves in religiosity and claim that somehow, in their sinister rampage, they were serving God’s will.
Questions about Bergoglio involve an incident that took place in 1976, shortly after the military seized power: Two Jesuit priests under his command were kidnapped, held without charges, interrogated and tortured. They were finally released after five months; several laypeople arrested in the same operation were killed.
Both priests were followers of the left-wing “liberation theology” movement; Bergoglio was not. As their superior, he had told them to cease the work they were doing in a slum neighborhood on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. The allegation is that Bergoglio, knowing the men were in danger of being targeted by the military, withdrew the Jesuit order’s protection from them because of their disobedience — effectively throwing them to the wolves.
This charge was first made in 1986 by Emilio Mignone, one of Argentina’s most respected human rights activists...
