The bible says that god created the universe and the bible was written by god.

The bobible says that bob created the universe and the bobible was written by bob.

The sambible says that sam created the universe and the sambible was written by sam.

So the bible, the bobible, and the sambible are all 100% true and everything that comes from them is fact.

This forces the cleargy to save face when we find contradictions. Hence the crazy explanations for what we can see and experience that contradict the word of the bible, the bobible, and the sambible.

For example, the bible, bobible, nor sambible mention god, bob, nor sam creating stars years before the earth to account for the fact that we are seening the light from stars that are millions of light years away.

So go ahead and interpret my post that same way you interperet the bible, bobible, and sambible. Take single sentences out of context to make mean what you want them to mean.

What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

Oh, this is so very old as an argument from the mentally challenged atheist. Look. No one claims that Harry Potter is real just because there is a book about him. Everyone agrees that Shakespeare was real although his name only appears on the first page of his plays.

I do not doubt that your great-great-grandfather existed, although I have not the slightest written proof.

God does not deceive. His intentions are spelled out in the Bible. His story had remained constant from the begining of the world, surely if there had been any doubt at all, someone would have mentioned it by now.

The argument used in the youtube clip is an ancient christian fallacy.

It uses circular logic to try and prove an unprovable thing.

Of course no one thinks harry potter is real, but those books do not say harry potter is real. If they did then they would be using the same circular logic as the christian interpretation of the bible.

The KJV1611 says nothing of your Sam or your Bob. Therefore you are a false prophet.

All I can say for all people is this:
If you do not believe in our God, I will not condemn or judge you.
God alone has that power and all I can do in my limited power and knowledge is to encourage you to seek truth. All human beings long for some sense of truth, some purpose in our lives and I pray and hope that you will find that answer in Christ. He alone changed me from a past of devastation and chaos and I have seen Him work in my life as a testimony. Whether or not, you choose to believe me, I will not condemn you at all. God loves you, and I love you all as a reminder of what Christ showed me first: His love for me, a sinner deserving of hell. He longs for all people to come to Him and that is what I desire too, but no logical arguments and fighting will help that cause whatsoever.

As for all Christians in the forum, those who are condemning and judging people, you should question your own beliefs and what the Bible says about us. Condemn and you will be condemned, judge and you will be judged, forgive and you will be forgiven as it says in Luke. God alone has the power to judge, so before you look at other people, look at your own reflection lest your pride says you are most deserving of salvation and that you earned it. We are all not worthy of anything more than anyone else. His grace was enough for us so don't place yourselves on a pedestal. All we are called to do is to preach truth, and be love in both action and in word!

I do not wish to have arguments or any heated debate with anyone. I just want to tell you that you are loved by the Lord and that He longs for an intimate relationship just as a loving Father desires that with his His own children. I am undeserving of anything I have and I am blessed to have them.
I can only speak of my own testimony for seeing Christ from searching for truth has changed me completely. If you would like to deny my testimony, I wouldn't know what else to bring to you.

I do question all that I read and just as history has been passed by word of mouth, so has the Word. Continue to pursue truth and I hope that you will find all that you need in Christ, for He has for me.

So what parts of the Bible do you question? If it's fallible and distorted through the years, how do you know Christ really died for your sins? How do you know God loves you? See, you are entering a dangerous slipperly slope with that line of thinking. If you start to doubt some of the Bible, you have to doubt all of the Bible. If you acknowledge there may be gross translational errors, how do you know if some of the things you believe may be wrong after all?
