Stating proof that God exists is based solely on the bible and then legitimizing the scientific worth of the bible because it comes from God is of course circular reasoning and a logical fallacy.

Circular logic will always result in a valid deduction because the reasoner only uses premises which are (assumed) true. It cannot however prove a conclusion (in this case God Exists) because if the conclusion is doubted then the premises are doubted as well (i.e. the Bible and God justifies the Bible).

If I were to conjure an invisible ball which one cannot sense in my hand and state that because I am a conjurer, the ball must exist. And since the ball exists I must be conjurer. The same fallacy occurs and the logical validity is of the same worth as stating that the bible proves God's existence and vice versa.

The same goes for the Scientific method by the way. Scientists trying to proof that the Scientific method is correct can only use the scientific method itself, thus resulting in circular reasoning. The same applies to Bible and God, God and Bible.

This is the Way of Logic.

For me the question of God's existence is less important than how much He loves us. Sure, secularists and heathens might come up with novel (but uninteresting) ideas: the sun is square; the sky does not exist; birds are a type of moss — who cares? The burden of proof lies with them not me.

And He does love us.

Pharaoh also received information from God when he was asleep. I included the Scripture in my earlier post before I was called away.

With no sound understanding of agriculture Pharaoh was at a loss and sought information from Joseph. But Joseph stated up front that the information he had for Pharaoh did not come from himself.

God was telling Pharaoh that there was going to be a famine. God had the appropriate agrarian knowledge to deal with that and put Joseph in charge. Storehouses were built, food was stored.
When the famine struck (it extended over the whole world, not just Egypt) God's mercy was self-evident.

God's agricultural genius.

The very fact it took God to reveal it to Joseph via a dream had by a ruler shows just how advanced an idea storing food to tide people over through the lean times actually is. Nobody had ever thought of this before and just think what a shoddy place the world would be if God had never mercifully revealed this idea. We'd still be grubbing around having to just eat what we had just dug up or hunted. We'd be useless. Barely higher than savages.

God's wisdom in coming up with the entire revolution of modern agriculture back in the ancient times shows He is real. No question!

It's amazing we're still having to point stuff like this out in these times where we take it all for granted.
