I appreciate the reply, though I must say that I do not personally idealize drugs nor do I force the gay deathstyle on anyone either as I'm not gay. And I am a libertarian because I believe in individual freedom and make their own choices rather than having the government decide everything for you. Which is happening more and more these days.

Though the Bible has many things in it, most of the modern amenities that we have today has come from science and technology derived from technology. We wouldn't have computers to write on this forum without it. We wouldn't have cars, or Air conditioning. We've doubled the life expectancy of people through the application of science.

The Bible is wonderful for spiritual guidance, but science definitely has it's place in the world. As most of the things we have and use today is derived from science.

Well, perhaps gifts by God, but were they not made by man? I did watch the video that was given in your post. It's a good video and I made a few notes here and there. I'll not bore you with them as they would likely not be read anyways. Suffice it to say, there were a number of things in the video that were not truthful, I must say. If you would like me to elaborate, I will.

Either way, the video didn't really show much about the arguments previously made. Here, I often read that science has no place with God, yet in this video most of the goal was try to include science with God. Or at least show that Christians can indeed be scientists. I do not argue against this point as there have been religious people who are scientists throughout recent history. But most of what we use today is based off scientific principles and observations and ideas that were not stated in the Bible. Or at least not elaborated. There are some things mentioned in the Bible that were observations. Like how the oceans had currents. But this was known long before the Bible was written. Still a good thing to know within the book, however.

Methuselah was one individual, not everyone. The average lifespan a couple hundred years ago was about 40 and was that way for a significant time.

So, if that is in fact true, does that then mean that we're less sinful today than we were back then? There was a greater percentage of the population a couple hundred years ago who were religious than there are today, so I don't think I understand the parallel you're trying to suggest there as it doesn't make any sense.

However, through scientific discovery, people have been able to help cure cancers and certain diseases. We can now look for genetic markers of hereditary diseases so you can get an idea if you may have that particular disease sometime in the future as well. It's the understanding of physics and chemistry that have helped us live longer.

Though, yes the statement "cleanliness is next to Godliness", is a good statement when it was first made (though I don't actually know where it comes from off the top of my head) because cleanliness is the best way to protect against viruses, diseases, and other illnesses.

It's obvious to me that you lack Christian Discernment, otherwise I wouldn't have to explain everything to you as if you wee a retarded child.

EVERYONE used to be Godly, so they lived for hundreds of years. Over time folks got less Godly, so they started living only 50 years or so. Now that Landover Baptist Church has been established for 400 years, people are becoming MORE Godly, and thus God has us living longer. Duh.

I wouldn't be surprised if God has me live another 2 or 3 hundred years. Shout Glory!

And what did that lead to? Every baby that has a "chance of a hereditary disease" is now murdered before it's even born. I suspect gay cults are behind it and that they found a genetic marker for queersexuality, that they use to drive parents to abort non-homersexual children with threats of that the kid will get sick once when it's born.

Gay cults already cost me a leg, they're not going to take my children too.

I mean, if Jesus wants, he can cure all of those hereditary diseases anyway, so why let a doctor look at them?

This video could not have said it any better, thanks for posting!

I love when an Atheist tries to explain how the earth is millions of years old. For proof he goes on and on and on in elaborate detail of how scientist can date rocks, how evolution is real due to matching DNA structures in various animals, etc, etc.

All I have do so is open my Bible (which is with me at all times) and show him MY proof by pointing right at the words of the Lord printed there in black in white.

Their counter is something along the lines of "Well those are just words! Its no different them opening a mother goose book and saying The Three Little Bears were Real! Give me physical proof!"

I end the conversation right there by angrily warning them that they are on the path to Hell and that Jesus is their savior.

The fact that they walk away laughing - sometimes hysterically - just goes to show how insane and deluded Atheists are.
