The point wasn't really that I was asking for a God test (although, just out of interest, what exactly counts as testing God, and what happens if we do test Him? They did that prayer testing http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12082681/ in New York, and I don't remember a locust plague, or anything like that).
Did you even read that article? It said that God gave them heart complications! That seemed like a pretty clear sign that He doesn't like being tested to me.
Churches take up way too much space and use up way too much money.
If it hadn't been for all the technological advances, you people wouldn't be using this very forum in the first place, amongst billion of other things. So you might as well feel a liiiiiiiiittle grateful... Just a thought.
It's so sad, really... Living in 2008, being on the verge of uniting the theories of quanta, relativity and gravity and at the same time having so many narrow-minded people around.
Funny... Sad... I really cannot tell.
Just as you people urge us to read the bible, I've got one tiny suggestion for you (and mind you, it takes a lot less time to go through this one): Look up the name George Carlin, some of you might have heard of him. He died this year and has produced some very fine comedy videos. He's the main reason I still believe there might still be hope for this country after all...
same can be said for all those damn churches out there... and come to think about it, churches offer nothing at all. whereas this can really alter the course of modern science.
My church provides Salvation AND food for the poor. What do YOU provide, with your ridiculous atom-smashing fetish?

I suspect you fall into that category of person who knows nothing about True Christianity and even less about science, yet nevertheless delights in displaying ignorance. True Christian Churches (Landover) has the Godly duty to Save the Souls of the Unsaved Trash. The Large Hadron Collider will seek for alleged particles so small that untold trillions would fit into a ping-pong ball.
Now, let me see, which is the more likely to benefit mankind for all eternity? Salvation or a very heavy ping-pong ball?
Oh OK, my bad... It's just that these things are very common here. For example, a good friend of mine is gay, although he is quite athletic and plays basketball.
He's a queer basketball player? I'll bet he gets all sweaty and his shirt sticks to his muscular Greek torso as he drips the AIDs all over the basketball court.
True Christian™ churches offer eternal salvation (with a proper tithing plan in place of course). I don't think the scientists' little playtoy can say the same thing, can it?
Mr. Monty Python, I suspect you won't last 24 hours on God's Favorite Forum™ with your blasphemous ramblings and the homage to an evil creation in your username.
I wonder how many Bibles could have been printed, or mouths filled with food, for the billions of dollars spent building this techie toy that will bring no benefit except to a few curious scienticians.

It is technologically impossible to teleport entire human beings without scrambling their molecules...
In otherwords, they will only become basic units of mass if a teleportation attempt was made.
The machine is actually going to be used to recreate a very small model of the "Big Bang", which,if successful, is still bad as it will further fortify many scientists belief that there is no God. but to those with faith, I think it could be seen as "just another advancement in human developement".
I don't get it? You can't simulate something that never was?
And even if you could make a little "big bang", how exactly would that fortify a disbelief in God?
Brothers and Sisters in Christ, look at Parabola's signature! Is that some kind of Satanic tongue?
Sinner, if you are committing witchcraft with those unGodly markings in your siggie, they will have no effect. JESUS shall protect us!
As for your slanderous statement against Brother Bob, I assure you Mr. Bob4God is as straight as a die. When he says "Godly Manly Man", he means it in a True Christian™ sense.

As for the signature, it is a line from a prayer, only written in Greek. You shouldn't be so suspicious, sister..
