That is obviously untrue. If I go outside now and look at the sun I don’t to wait eight minutes until I can see the sun.

The same is if I went indoors from being out of the sun into my prayer closet: it does not take eight minutes for the sun to vanish: it just goes away when I go indoors.

Unless you are talking about early in the morning eight minutes before the sun comes up: then I can see how I would have to wait eight minutes.

That’s the only way it would make sense.

I suspect this agnesaliencat person is mentally retarded and so it takes him about eight minutes, give or take, to realize when he's standing in the sun. In any case, he shouldn't stare into the sun. The only one who can stare directly into the sun without burning his retinas is President Trump of course. He's very manly that way, and in many ways. I thank God for his leadership.

You can blame that on how I worded it, as our pole stars do change over time. That's a known fact, although what you think I said (that they jump) isn't anywhere near true, as it takes years for the process to complete, and once it's done that, it will repeat the process over and over again (just like it does on other planets with their pole stars).
