Leave it to Jesus to save his favorites, white people, from the massive number of babies born to parents with black, brown, red or yellow skin. We know from the Bible God loves white people but is has always perplexed some of the faithful when the growth of those with colored skin was outpacing His favorites.

A news story today is that undesirable genes can now be altered to make a baby different than he otherwise would have been. Think of a world where there was no interracial marriage to pollute the races. Thank you Jesus for saving us again.

This opens a lot of ethical debates. We should be ready to shut them down with a Bible in our hand and Christ in our hearts.

I'm glad you recognize, Sister Lytton-Vasey, that Landover Baptist Church is ground zero for moral values. The rest of the country need only consult us to learn the definition of moral values that are superior to all others.

There will be arguments about gene editing. That does not mean we are required to participate. It is our job to issue rulings.

Mr. Mayor, I ask you to think about this troubling moral dilemma. A perfect white baby boy is born to negroid, or worse, mixed race.... lesbians... using dark gene editing trickery. We already know that God issued the curse of Ham so we may recognize moral inferiority. How are we to detect God's CURSE if the black negroid genes are covered over with white paint. Will the paint come off? Do we even know if these white negroids are safe? I fear the threat requires an emergency Mayoral edict for militia troops to be stationed at the city limits.

Your powerful intellect raises a good question, Dr. Toole. If a Negro couple has a baby which has had the Negro gene removed what judgement can we make about the child's and later adult's moral grounding?

We know God intended the races not mix and breed. That is why He put the Negro people in Africa, yellow people in Asia, brown people in India and white people in the United States. The White people in the United States were to be God's beacon of hope to the world. We were and remain the group from which those few who are rewarded with an eternity are selected.

Human's however, defied God's intent and we now have mixed race people and interlopers of other races in the U. S. I think gene editing will allow the U. S. to become the white nation God intended. It will take a generation of two. But, if we are of sound morals our task in to carry out God's intention of the white U.S.A. That is how I see the moral issue.

It's great how we can just turn to the Bible to resolve complex modern issues like this. I love the way the Bible is still so relevant to contemporary matters, even after two thousand years. No-one but God could've written it, that's for sure!

I've always been a little confused about these DNA, genes, and chromosomes. For example, women have two X chromosomes which somehow gives them the propensity to vote for Democrats - which is why they were not given the right to vote for so long. If we could just figure out which gene Republican voters have, we wouldn't need to be bothered by all this white, brown, yellow, black stuff.

God loves all who love Him. Nonetheless, His desire is for some ethnicities to remain in servitude. All descendants of Ham are cursed because Ham accidentally saw his father drunk and naked:

Genesis 9:20-27
20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

God wiped out all humanity except for Noah's family in the Flood. Hence, Shem, Japhteth, and Ham are the ancestors of all living human beings (Genesis 9:18-19).

Genesis 10:6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

You will note that Cush son of Ham is the father of the nation of Kush, also known as Nubia (map depicted below). What color are people of Nubia? Exactly. In fact, the only historically documented black-skinned pharaohs of Egypt belonged to the 25th Dynasty, when Nubians conquered Egypt (Nubian pharaoh Taharqa depicted here on the right).

You're confused, dear. God doesn't care about races (Galatians 3:28-29). He does, however, care about loyalty.

Does not God love races equally regardless of colour.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God loves everyone equally. Go ahead and look. We'll wait. In the meantime, you might consider familiarizing yourself with the Holy Bible. It's pretty clear that the degenerating sons of Ham moved south from The Ark after The Flood if for no other reason that that's where peoples cursed unto perpetual servitude come from. Canaan was blasted in perpetuity (although he is not mentioned in the historical record as being present for the genital viewing itself) and of course Africa was uninhabited at this stage. There would not even have been any animals. The fate of Ham's other sons can similarly be determined.

You will notice from Basilissa's post that degeneration set in almost immediately. Noah was a farmer. Not just any old farmer who grows a crop and then eats it or who raises a sheep to slaughter. Noah planted a vineyard and established a winemaking operation. That's quite sophisticated compared to the alternative of prowling around looking for a prey species. Nimrod gets singled out as a grandson (of Ham) worth special mention because he's a hunter. Already the principle of agriculture (for his kind) had disappeared.

Genesis 10:8-9 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

Not all of Noah's progeny grew into nations. Girgashites for instance are mentioned as a nation destroyed by Joshua but other descendants of Canaan appear only in the singular once or twice before disappearing altogether. We know where they lived, though:

Genesis 10:19 The border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

It's pretty easy to spot the remnant hunter/gatherers today. Not only have they degenerated agriculturally but spiritually as well. Voodoo and the Indaba mentality are prime examples. But no matter how far one may sink, Christ can lift one up.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

God identifies two very distinct categories. The purified and the wicked. One group is white but the other group is wicked. The Song of Solomon describes a relationship between the redeemed (i.e. Christians) and Jesus Christ; many aspects of this relationship are celebrated in the future history of Revelation.

Song of Solomon 5:10-16 My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

It's worth noticing that Christ's hair is described as becoming fairer after He'd removed the sins of all those who'd trust Him and been received into Glory.

Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire.

The Bible is clear in what respect some people are closer to Christ while others appear nearer to wickedness.
