You need to factor in the fact that there are no atmosphere in space, therefore the heat from the sun won't be dissipated/refracted.

Heat has to travel through a medium. If, what you are saying, there is no atmosphere, then there is no medium for heat to travel. Which is why in Genesis 1, it says that space is made up of the waters above. Heat can travel through water, thus proving the literal Genesis account and poking holes in the "vacuum space" hypothesis you secularists cling to.

heat takes the form of thermal radiation. which can travel through vacuum and which once striking the surface of earth, heats it up and in turn heats up the atmosphere.

What i find most ironic is that you believe parts of modern day science that can be used foe youre own irrational purloses, yet choose not to believe others.

I.e the temp of the sun, yet not the distance. Or parts of the math that you used to calculate rediculous ends. I also find it interesting that you do not find the temperature of the sun yoursemd, or make your own mathmatical properties up.

hi there my name is bobby and i'm new to this forum, this will be my first post and sadly i already wil have to disagree with you,
your theory is correct except for the fact that the troposfere is only a small part of earth's atsmosphere...scientist say vacuum i do not know is this correct, because if never been to space

so what i'm saying is that scientist are right if their such thing called vacuum ? also havent they measured the distance with unmanned rocketflights?

How can you measure a distance with a rocket, let alone an unmanned one. You need a guy on each end to hold the tape measure.

You need to stop all this silly speculation and read the Bible and get the True Facts(c).

No, we are not discussing if the sun is 500 miles away. You do not discuss a fact, you point it out and move on. You discuss things you do not know the answer to. We have the KJV Bible and almost all of the answers are in it. You should pick up a Bible some time and really read. All kinds of terrific stories in it too.

Also the amount of radiation would be far greater hitting the earth due to it being more concentrated not allowing life to form let alone evolve.

What is with this gravity nonsense? Have you read each and every post in this thread or did you just bully your way into the discussion? The sun is not all that massive as one can plainly see.

We have already explained the heat radiation. The sun is just large enough, not too big and not too small, so that the coal it is burning will last until the Rapture. Please read your 1611 King James Bible. God has already provided us with everything we need to know. We do not need your phoney baloney pseudoscience.
