I think some people already mentioned this but the banana we know today was made by man. The wild banana is not edible at all. If god did make the banana (which he didn't by the way) he did a pretty poor job at it.

This is so stupid on so many levels. The banana you hold in your hand is not designed by your "god". It was created by human plant breeders. The bananas were domesticated from papua new guinea and they started to evolve over the time frame of a thousand years or so. Try to disprove evolution when what you hold is an example of evolution. Honey, just because Comfort is a foolish, silly man does not mean that the Designer could have front loaded the banana with the kinds of genes that would enable them to be the way they are today. Bananas show multiple redundancies in there genes and this is obvious evidence of front loading.

Your point about thousands of year evolution is wrong. The genes of modern bananas have been sequenced and they were still evolving when they underwent chromosomal splitting in the beginning of the tertiary period (60 Mil years ago).

I feel i should add my voice to this. Evolution is a concept almost universally accepted by all scientists and a large majority of the population. It is also supported by many pieces of evidence that is being added to every day.

A Gallup poll in 1991 states that 5 % of scientists identify themselves as creationists. This number has grown in the years after that.

Provide an alternate explanation to this, the hip bones of whales. Every whale has a small stunted pair of hip bones that just seem to sit in the whale with no function. The whale has no legs or even fins connected to them, they serve no purpose. Even if they were connected to something, the muscles around it are too small to move them effectively. Evolution has shown that these are remnants of when whales were land mammals before they evolved to be more aquatic.

1. Kids in A-freak-a are dying of malnutrition because they and their parents are too stupid to walk a few miles and go live in the forest where there is plenty of food. If you are dumb enough to squat in the dirt and let flies crawl on your face while you starve to death, you deserve what you get.
