Does merely claiming to be a Christian make one a Christian?

Matt 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

He's most likely an undercover Muslim.

The argument that Obama is a Muslim includes:
          • Obama declared in prepared remarks, "The United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans. Many other Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim-majority country - I know, because I am one of them."[110]
          • Obama's background, education, and outlook are Muslim, and fewer than 1% of Muslims convert to Christianity.[111][112]
          • Obama's middle name (Hussein) references Husayn, who was the grandson of Muhammad,[113][114] which most Christians would not retain.[115]
          • Obama mentioned his religion as "my Muslim faith."[116]
          • He has said that "Islam can be compatible with the modern world."[117]
          • Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset," and recited "with a first-class Arabic accent" the opening lines: Allah is Supreme! ... I witness that there is no god but Allah ...."[118]
          • Obama stated that the autobiography of Malcolm X, a Nation of Islam leader who became a Muslim, inspired him in his youth.[119]
          • Obama raised nearly $1 million and campaigned for a Kenyan presidential candidate who had a written agreement with Muslim leaders promising to convert Kenya to an Islamic state that bans Christianity.[120]
          • Obama's claims of conversion to Christianity arose after he became politically ambitious, lacking a date of conversion or baptism.[121]
          • In the book Obama,"Renegade" his friends say that "he actually really wasn't much of a churchgoer." [122]
          • On the campaign trail, Obama was reading "The Post-American World" by Fareed Zakaria,[123] which is written from a Muslim point-of-view.[124]
          • Contrary to Christianity, the Islamic doctrine of taqiyya encourages adherents to deny they are Muslim if it advances the cause of Islam.
          • Obama uses the Muslim Pakistani pronunciation for "Pakistan" rather than the common American one.[125]
          • Obama was thoroughly exposed to Christianity as an adult in Chicago prior to attending law school, yet no one at law school saw him display any interest in converting. Obama unabashedly explained how he became "churched" in a 2007 speech: "It's around that time [while working as an organizer for the Developing Communities Project (DCP) of the Calumet Community Religious Conference (CCRC) in Chicago] that some pastors I was working with came around and asked if I was a member of a church. 'If you're organizing churches,' they said, 'it might be helpful if you went to a church once in a while.' And I thought, 'I guess that makes sense.'"[126]
          • Obama is mentioned as helping to organize the 1995 million man march led by black Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan from the Nation of Islam. [127]
          • Obama refuses to refer to the United States as "our country", "What I think we know separate and apart from this incident -- is that there is a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately, and that's just a fact."[8]
          • Obama has chosen the Secret Service code name "Renegade". "Renegade" conventionally describes someone who goes against normal conventions of behavior, but its first usage was to describe someone who has turned from their religion. It is a word derived from the Spanish renegado, meaning "Christian turned Muslim."[128]
          • Obama enjoyed a bigger increase in voter support in 2008 (compared to 2004) by Muslims than by any other voting group, including blacks;[129] "Muslim turnout in the U.S. elections reached 95 percent, the highest Muslim turnout in U.S. history."[130]
          • "President-elect Barack Obama has yet to attend [Sunday] church services since winning the White House earlier ..., a departure from the example of his two immediate predecessors."[131][132]
          • Obama used his Muslim middle name when sworn in as President.[133][134]
          • Obama botched his public oath of office in which he placed his hand on a Bible, then chose not to use the Bible for his real, private oath.
          • At the G20 summit in April 2009, Obama bowed deeply to Saudi King Abdullah, a Muslim who is also the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.[135] Never before in the history of the U.S. has a president displayed such shocking deference to a foreign official and Obama has not bowed to any other royal leaders. Obama later stated, "We have to change our behavior in showing the Muslim world greater respect."[136] Obama's spin doctors and left-wing apologists dismissed the obviousness of the bow. One anonymous aide stated, "It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah."[137] However, in video of the incident, Obama's left hand can clearly be seen staying at his side until after he had finished his bow.[138] Additionally, Obama also met with Queen Elizabeth, who is much shorter than King Abdullah, but he did not bow when he shook her hand and neither he nor the queen appeared to have any difficulty.[139] (Many liberals and even a handful of conservatives have proposed that President Bush also bowed before King Abdullah.[140] However, there is a vast, inexorable difference between bending down to receive a medal as Bush did and bowing in deference to a foreign leader as Obama did.)
          • Obama required that a religiously affiliated college take the extraordinary action of concealing with wood the monogram "IHS", which represents the name of Jesus, during a speech by Obama there[141]

Obama tries to downplay his Islamic background by claiming that his Kenyan Muslim father was a "confirmed atheist" before Obama was born, but in fact less than 1% of Kenyans are atheists, agnostics, or non-religious.[142] There is apparently no evidence of any Christian activities or local church participation by Obama while he was in Massachusetts from 1988 to 1991, nor of Barack Obama's joining of a Mosque (The Islamic house of worship) at any time in his life. Finally, Obama abruptly left his radical Christian church in Chicago in 2008, when it became politically controversial, without first finding another church to join. On April 7, 2009, Obama visited a mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.[143]

It's great to finally see the unbiased truth about Obama.

You love Big Brother, huh? So you think when a person is president we should never criticize him? How was what I posted disrespectful anyway? He may not be a Muslim, but everything on that list is factual. Is it disrespectful to tell the truth?

Anyway, Obama most likely isn't really the President as there is no evidence he is was a natural born US citizen.

I'm not sure what this has to do with math, but I've encountered guy's who were omnipotent. It really was embarrassing for them, you know guy's whole self image is wrapped up in how well they perform with girls.

I found that most guy's with that omnipotence problem just were lacking faith.

Again, how have I been disrespectful? (Also, why does being president demand instant respect? I think you'd prefer to live in a monarchy or dictatorship, pal. Elected officials work for us, not vice versa).

                        http://www.conservapedia.com/Barack_...ce_controversy

Barack Obama claims to have been born at the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawaii,[1] to Barack Obama, Sr., a Luo from Nyang’oma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya, and Ann Dunham, a US citizen [2] of mainly English, Irish and smaller amounts of German descent.[3][4][5] However, requests, including lawsuits, asking he make his official birth certificate public have gone unanswered.
The US Constitution Article II, Section 1 requires that "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States", thus prohibiting those who were born in another country, even if they are US citizens, from legitimately becoming President.
In total, there are at least 6 lawsuits in the effort to compel President-elect Obama to prove his birthplace and US Citizenship. The lawsuits include those by Democrat former-Assistant Attorney General of Pennsylvania Philip Berg[1], American Independence Party founder and former-Republican Party Presidential Primary candidate Alan Keyes[2], and independent author Andy Martin.[3]
Philip Berg explains his lawsuit in this linked video [4]
The Obama campaign released a "Certification of Live Birth" from the State of Hawaii claiming this is proof Obama was born in Hawaii.[5] However, the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, an official government agency of the state of Hawaii rejects this document as proof of Hawaiian birth. They require instead a "Certificate of Live Birth" (1st word different). The department states:
"In order to process your application, DHHL utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL."[6]
Bloggers note that the "Certification of Live Birth" records Obama's father's race as "AFRICAN" versus "Negro" and that the document contains the word "LASER" in the lower left hand corner identifying the form type. They claim both words are incompatible with a document generated in 1961. They also note the certification number is blacked out.[7]

                          http://www.conservapedia.com/Date_of_creation

The best known date of creation is the one calculated by Archbishop James Ussher in the 17th century - namely 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 4004 BC.[3] Ussher calculated the year of Creation by the following means:
                          • He accepted the date of the death of Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon at 562 BC.[4]
                          • He then assumed that Evil-Merodach began to reign in that year.[5]
                          • King Jehoiachin received a pension from Evil-Merodach beginning in this year, and that he was taken captive 37 years before then, or in 599 BC.[6] (The final Fall of Jerusalem occurred eleven years later; hence Ussher places the Fall of Jerusalem in 588 BC, not 586 BC as most secular archaeologists assume.)
                          • From that anchor point, Ussher worked backward through the king lists of the Divided Kingdoms Northern and Southern. See I and II Kings.
                          • He worked backward further to set the dates-of-reign of King Solomon, and calculated the Exodus of Israel at 480 years earlier than the groundbreaking of the Temple, which was in Solomon's fourth year.[7] This fell in 1012 BC, and so Ussher fixed the Exodus at 1491 BC.
                          • Based on his interpretation of Galatians 3:17 , Ussher then fixed the date of the entry of Abraham into Canaan. This was in 1921 BC.
                          • Ussher here made a key assumption that is in great dispute. We read that Abraham was 75 years old when he embarked into Canaan.[8] We also read that Terah was 70 years old when he "begat" Abraham, Nahor (the younger), and Haran.[9] Ussher's assumption, which added another sixty years to the reckoning of Creation, was this: that Abraham did not embark on his own until after Terah had died at the age of 205.[10] This would mean that Terah was actually 130 years old, not 70, when Abraham was born--and presumably that Nahor the Younger or Haran was born when Terah was 70. Ussher's sole warrant for this assumption is that the Bible describes Abraham's departure after it describes Terah's "death." But Terah's "death" might be spiritual rather than physical, in that Terah had originally intended to take all his family out of Ur of the Chaldees and into Canaan, but forgot his purpose and grew too accustomed to worldly enticements in the country of Haran. If that is the case, then Abraham might have departed when Terah was still alive--which is what the inventors of the present Hebrew calendar assumed.

                          • Ussher then backtracked the pedigree of Abraham to Arphaxad, born to Shem two years after the Great Flood.[11] He therefore concluded that the Great Flood happened in 2349 BC.
                          • Finally, Ussher backtracked the genealogy of Shem to Adam.[12]

To arrive at the month and approximate date, Ussher concluded that Creation must have occurred during the Autumnal Equinox, which in fact is the favorite start of many of the world's calendars, ancient and modern. He also assumed that the ancient Hebrews did not attempt to synchronize their months with the moon until after their exile into Babylonia. He thus calculated the date of creation at October 23, 4004 BC according to the Julian calendar.
Because the seven days of creation (including one day of rest) set the pattern for our week, Ussher decided that the creation began on the first day of the week, i.e. Sunday. However, because the day was defined as being an "evening and morning", and some calendars to this day still have the days beginning at sunset, Ussher concluded creation actually began at what on modern western calendars would be 6 p.m. (sunset at the equinox) on Saturday.
James Ussher's calculation was the best-sourced calculation in all of Christendom at the time. Ussher also spoke with authority, and from a position of authority. For those reasons, his dates for various Biblical events appeared in the margins of King James and other Bibles for centuries, until the last quarter of the twentieth century, when publishers abandoned this practice. Sir Isaac Newton defended Ussher's date.[13]

ok so someone just gave me an infraction. I don't deserve it. He didn't say why, but maybe they thought I was saying that God was omnipotent.

Well, he COULDN'T be, because he made Mary get preggers, and I'm sorry but guys that are omnipotent just can't get that kind of action going.

I know it seems like a contradiction, but sometimes you just have to have faith and believe.

                            I do.
