  • Religion and Science....uh oh!

Long has there been a huge debate with science vs. religion. And long has there been unneeded struggle and arguing to "prove" who is "right". A thought crossed my mind the other day...what if religion and science are one in the same?

Think of it this way...during medieval times things that were unexplainable (e.g. gravity, chemical reactions, even weather) were defined as "magic". They did not have the technology to explain how this happened, so one way or another they worked it into magic, or religion.

Nowadays, we have the same thing. We can't explain a lot of things still (e.g. gravity still lol, time, space, etc...). So, eventually down the road when science has evolved enough that we CAN explain nearly everything, we will then define what is "magic" as scientific fact.

Basically what I'm trying to say..."magic" 1000 years ago is our science today. So maybe 1000 years from now, our "magic" today will be their science.

    Anyone agree/disagree? Let me know!

So you're trying to be clever and say that in one thousand years our most cherished religious beliefs will be viewed as ludricous and unfounded?

Well I've got news for you, GOD is very real and things like science, magic and gravity are the works of satan!

      What's wrong with being clever?

All I'm saying is maybe science and religion can hopefully be united. Nothing wrong with having hope!

Once so-called "scientists" realize that all the physical laws they discover are the creation of God's brilliant design, and begin to use their process of discovery for His glory instead of their own, then your stated goal will be achieved.

Until then, all they will do is condemn themselves and their followers to an eternity of torture in the Lake of Fire.

Well, maybe. I didn't necessarily mean that though. But if that's how it turns out that works too!

Kansas has tried this more times than I care to remember and those Godless Heathens in Washington just oppose everything and send their expensive joo lawyers down to force their communist ways on God Fearing people!

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
1 Timothy 6:21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

Just because Kansas can't do it, doesn't mean we can't! There's always hope dude, trust me.

I didn't even bring evolution into this? Lol wtf?

I'm saying...MAYBE...1000 years from now, science and religion will understand each other and be able to live in harmony. If that sends me to Hell, then I guess that's where I should go!

I've already told you the only way that will work.

Science must recognize that it is working to understand and make the best use of God's Creation.

There's other routes it could go though, maybe science and religion are BOTH right, I guess is what I'm trying to get at

                              There are no other routes.

The only alternative is to deny God's Truth.
