Also, I was referring to what people say when I tell them to simply have faith regarding this matter (myself included).

Since we are evolved from the bacterial "soup" that used to be the ocean. If he was advanced enough to know how to talk (he has a name doesn't he?), then it stands to reason that other people were advanced enough to build houses and towns.

While only indirectly referred to in Scripture yes. Satan corrupted the dinosaurs to gay rape and kill humans. Thus damning countless thousands to Hell since there would be no chance of repenting of this depraved act before the luckless dinosaur victim was killed. God, in His mercy drowned the world in The Flood to stop this hideous cycle of man-reptile sex. Admittedly none of this is described in Scripture but Christians scientists have theorized this from a revised reading and evilotionist free reading of the archeological record (for instance the famous man-dinosaurs foot prints found in Texas clearly show a man fleeing a dinosaur assailant. )
