I am afraid your argument and Cranky's are contradicting eachother, Cranky showed me a picture of water freely falling off the edge of the Earth but you say that it is all held in and never drains out? I believe this offers a little bit more explanation.

But if it IS indeed flat then why do we not have any pictures of the end of the Earth? I can understand you saying that you can't trust scientists but can't some people from the religious community take the time to hop in a plane, fly to the end of the Earth, grab a few pics, and come back with Proof?

I do appreciate the hasty replies from each of you, and if you could answer both of my questions I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Now now, no need to spam just for the sake of spamming, I wasn't even bothering calling the pic a genuine. I did try to look up more pics though but there weren't many, and what I did find were very obvious computer genuines for the sake of them looking cool.
So now I have 2 questions.
1) Since this is such as easy and crushing blow to scientists why wouldn't there be more pics and why wouldn't the Christian communities parade them all over their websites?
2 ) Could you please explain the contradiction of your pic and Rev. Jim Osborne's statement?

I myself know Earth was flat when it was created, since that is clearly in the Bible, but I also think it is no longer flat.

But as long as it isn't believed the Earth is flat anymore then I suppose there would be no pictures of it then anyway, as cameras wouldn't have been around before the transformation I suppose. You must understand that most people who call themselves Christians these days dilute the Biblical Truth™ to incorporate secular scientific ideas, to gain more acceptance of the world. They do not show these pictures because they love the world more than they love Jesus. However, the Bible is very clear: the Earth is flat. If anyone denies that fact, that means he is not a True Christian™, and will burn in Hell for eternity.

Rev. Jim's pictures more or less showed a Scientific explanation for the mystery why the oceans do not drain into space: there is a wall of ice at the Northern and Southern edges.
Another option that is considered is that the water, as soon as it falls of the Earth, evaporates and rises up again in the form of clouds, completing the hydrologic cycle. Yet another option is that the water is being replenished by the tears of God's Angels, who cry incessantly when they see people like you securing a ticket to Hell by sinning and questioning God's Holy Scriptures™.

If the Bible is God's word why did the Romans choose what went in?
Why have certain sections been removed over the years, such as the strongly Anti-Semitic ones?
If the Earth is flat why:

do GPS satellites work if they are based on calculations where the Earth is round?

was the quickest route fro Soviet nukes to hit the USA to go over the Arctic?

do we have different seasons? (conventional science points to the fat that the Earth rotates on a slanted axis)

can't you see the whole of the Earth from space?

have space exploration vehicles reached other solar systems, none of which orbit ours or the Earth?

is it possible for people to sail around the world?

can you see more the higher you climb? (conventional wisdom holds you can see further over the curve)

do planes that according to you use flat maps, fly over Greenland, Canada and Detroit on their way to Washington from the UK if on a flat map the shortest route is to fly in a straight line across the Atlantic?

do dinosaurs not feature in the bible?

is it possible for nuclear fission or fusion if things are not made of atoms?

are people able to criticise God without being smitten down?

doesn't everyone agree with you if your "proof" is so unequivocal?

are there so many different forms of Christianity, surely if the Bible is absolute fact it can not be interpreted in different ways?

did God bother creating black people, Arabs, or any other non-white Christian race if he only likes white Christians?

if God got rid of all the bad people with the great flood, are there still sinners?

That doesn't make sense because for you to go in a very large circle you would have to sail over the top of N. American and Asia, through the fabled North West Passage.

That is only true if there are small hills but if you are facing the sea the higher up a cliff you climb the further the horizon is, and once you are above a certain point, say a few dozen feet, tress and hills are not going to get in your way but your view keeps stretching.

altitude and wind have nothing to do with anything, if the world is flat the quickest rout is to fly straight across not around the bump.

Catholics are the hard ones, the church of England, from which you sprouted if you are related to English pilgrims, or the Calvinists if you are related to the Dutch are much softer.
