I don't know your faith but judging by your name I think it's worth pointing out that the Qur'an agrees with the Bible that the Earth is flat with four corners,

I have always thought it would be very interesting to see the Earth from underneath although I am aware it's impossible. It would be fascinating to see the pillars shaking when the Lord sends a major earthquake such as Haiti of the one that caused the Asian Tsunami.

Please cite your peer reviewed evidence, compatible with a Biblical standpoint of course. The idea of the Earth being shaped as a ball is as ludicrous as thinking the Earth was caused by a giant bang. It's not only unscientific, but embarrassing! Thank goodness God didn't create our earth in the shape of a bowling ball, we would all be parachuting away like suicide jumpers in Asia! Admit it, you are about as scientifically savvy as a stump. Just like your other skeptical and secularist buddies.

Remember friend, it is not the illiterate, ignorant, or naive that deny God, but the "fool" (Psalms 14:1). The Bible is very clear when it come to existence of God, this includes the Earth and those who make it up. By denouncing an obvious flat Earth, you are denouncing his perfect creation.

I think that the correct answer is that the firmament is blue. This seems clear looking at,

Exodus 24:9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
10And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

They saw God's feet actually standing on the solid, blue firmament. This is a direct eye witness account from Moses himself which I think even the most cold hearted atheist must admit is a reliable and trustworthy source,
