This is my final statement on this whole matter. 0 scientific proof has been given on the matter of the earth being flat, in this entire thread. None. and i know that because their is no scientific proof. So to all you moderators better give some infractions to yourself and others who have gone way off topic. As for this not being a debate thread... that is a load of crap. Because in the real world you can't shove garbage down people throat and have them buy into it so have fun with your pseudo-intellectual beliefs and false sense of power and self-righteousness. In reality you have none. You are literally terrorists and none of you have my respect. Your facts are almost as non-existent as your good intentions. Oh boy i really am causing a stir too. Wait are you dangling that red herring in front of everyone to distract them from the true reason I am here? Strange, can't you just discuss some points of mine instead of how i present them? That's what Jesus would do. And the thing is that I am not putting Bible verses in what I say because the Bible says nothing about the shape of the Earth. So you are interpreting God's word how you like. That is Heresy.

thats largely taken out of context. And mostly from the Old Testament. The problem is that these guys stand on soapboxes and claim that they preach the teachings of Jesus. In reality they just spread messages of hate. While Jesus taught compassion and love.

He spends his first and biggest sermon preaching about how we should all strive to be better, to become closer to God, to live by the golden rule, "but how do we know slavery is wrong"? As I look out of my bedroom window, I see the Moon. It seems spherical. In one month when I look out the window it will still be there, but rotated, thus confirming it as a sphere. I notice that the moon casts shadows on the earth, just as the Sun does to us and the moon. I then use a process of inference that If the Moon is round and spins and it goes around us, then the earth is round and spins and goes around the Sun, which is round and spins....etc etc.

please tell me where in this paragraph I am wrong

All your questions have already been addressed in this thread; shadows, spheres, flatness, orbiting etc… all of them! How do I know this? Because I’ve read all the posts. I suggest you do the same you lazy God mocker. The very second someone actually poses a genuinely new question in this thread (or any other thread), rest assured we will handle that properly and give full scriptural proof of why you are wrong.

First of all, the moon always shows the same face to the Earth. Even astronomers admit this. And it proves that the moon is a light in the firmament, as the Bible declares in Genesis. So you are completely wrong there.

Also, you lack the courage of your convictions. You seem to imply that slavery is incorrect, but you fail to actually say so, and certainly do not provide a justification for your belief. So unless you are withholding some profound piece of wisdom that trumps the Biblical mandates regarding slavery, it seems like you should admit defeat. (are you suggesting that the Golden Rule contradicts the Biblical prescriptions regarding the behavior of slaves and masters? I assure you that any True Christian(tm) would be more than willing to take up the yoke of slavery, were that their place).

Amazing! All this time I was convinced that in Christianity things like slavery were considered wrong. But now that you guys made me go research bible verses, I can't find a single bible verse that condemns slavery.

Though I do apologize for implying Christianity is intolerant of slavery. I was very wrong. Still though, when I look in the sky at the moon I see a sphere. Not a disc, not a square, not a photoshop, not an illusion that is meant to decieve me into thinking sphere when I really see banana. I see a sphere in the sky and its called the moon.
