I have noticed several debates on this particular subject here. To all you godless atheists out there, let's settle this once and for all...

In the modern world it has become a widely spread lie that the earth is round. Of course, this is impossible. If the earth is round, then why don't people just fall off at the bottom?

The answer is simple: The Earth is not round!

Now, if we take a look at some scripture, it clearly tells us the earth is not round but flat:

Jeremiah 16:19:
O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

According to Jeremiah 16:19, the earth has ends. There is no way a spherical earth could have ends, and therefore the earth must be flat. The Book of Revelation tells a similar story:

According to True Christians, the literal interpretation of the Bible is the correct one. True Christians as well as the Bible do not conform to mainstream definitions, as shown by the 4 cornered circle.

The passage states "the ends of the earth", not "the earth is flat. How does one jump from this to the conclusion that the earth is flat, knowing that God can make all things possible, therefore a spherical earth with ends made by God is possible?

Revelation 7:1:
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

A spherical earth cannot have corners, it is scientifically impossible. The only logical explanation is that the earth is flat. Checkmate atheists!

However, this is the most to the point defense of the Bible's support of the flat earth that I have seen yet. But it still raises questions. For example, the earth obviously has depth. This would make it cylindrical rather than circular. And since the mainstream definition of circle has been rejected, how does one know that 'the circle of earth' means a flat earth?

The problem is that (from what I have read) the Bible does not directly state: 'the earth is flat,' which kind of dampens your literal interpretation.

Care to show me the "ends" of a sphere? Why would God say the world has ends, but then make magical invisible "ends" on a sphere, so he can say "gotcha" on the Day of Judgement? What kind of sick God would do that?
