the reason we all stay on the planets is because gravity acts upon everything relative to it's size so nothing is crushed or allowed to fly away. Gravity is a force that pulls everything as around it towards a central position, not into it.

Friend, you are dead wrong. The Bible tells us that the worlds were framed by the WORD OF GOD ®. That settles that matter.

You can now effectively and assuredly throw your science books into the trash for they are completely wrong.

You have the Lord's Word, which is Himself, on it.

You use the Bible like it is all proven fact. Where is all this proof for the existence of God and that the Bible is all true. The Bible has just as much call to be true as The Hunger Games or Harry Potter. Maybe Dumbledore created the universe.

Friend, the Bible IS FACT. God over saw its' creation to provide us, His subjects with a rule book to foolow that will help us avoid His wrath and perhaps even, gain His good favor.

What I said has just been taken out of context, I was showing how flawed your point was. God can't exist because there is no way anything can exist before existence except if it is time or energy as they are eternal. They caused the universe to happen. Saying a being existed before the modern universe is total trash.

Errr, no. How do you know time is passing? Things happen. If there were no things to have stuff happen to, how would time have any meaning? Before the Big Bang (quite the misnomer, actually, and the guy who thought it up regretted ever saying it, but it was "catchy" and caught on before he could stop it), there was nothing to have things happen to, so time, by definition, did not exist.

Time needs matter to exist, to exist itself.

Roughly same situation with energy. Energy is what makes things happen, so if there was nothing to have things happen to...

This isn't a forum for some philosophical debate. Here are the facts: God is real. God is an omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient being. God created the universe. How do we know this? It says so in the Bible and the Bible is 100% accurate. Get over it.

God not a 'being', He is God.

I do not know of any 'freaking universe'.

Part of your problem (they will cover it during your Junior year) is that you think of God like that 'cute guy' that sits in front of you in Home Ec. Gos is Jesus and also the Holy Ghost. He Is. It is often hard for the smaller mind to grasp the big picture. Imagine the entire universe as you know it to be merely a terrarium in Gods Heavenly Home®.

Are you trying to say Jesus didn't die temporarily for your sins?

Because if the Bible is lying that Jesus could see the whole world from on top of a mountain it all starts to unravel. Think really carefully. Do you honestly think that the Bible was lying about Jesus' temporary death? On Good Friday of all days!

This is the most stupid argument I have ever heard, Brother Alex, the photos are photo shopped and the reason we all stay on the planets is because gravity acts upon everything relative to it's size so nothing is crushed or allowed to fly away. Gravity is a force that pulls everything as around it towards a central position, not into it. You can say that gravity has never been proven but neither has the existence of God so he is just a theory too. Nobody just flies off because we all move at the same speed as the Earth. When we jump, we still move with the Earth as we are in the atmosphere.
If the Earth was flat, then the horizon could not move, which it does based on your perception and position. The Sun is 150 million km away so we don't burn up. The Sun is bigger than us so we rotate around it. The Sun looks small because it is so far away. It is a simple optical illusion. Some stars don't look red because of red and blue shift. Read a book that wasn't written 1000 years ago and actually study proper science.

So if the sun is so big, and gravity is real, why are we still here? Why haven't we just been sucked into the sun by gravity? Oh and what keeps the atmosphere wrapped around the earth?

And horizons move? Well I guess if you're on drugs, but I've never seen a horizon "move".

Friend, is this what you are wanting him to say? Your inclination to agree with him demonstrates the sheer resistance of Atheists to anything that the Lord may be trying to say through His Word that was inspired and controlled by His Spirit.
