Of course not, all radio signals have a limited range. Everyone with a WiFi router or a cellphone knows that. If your silly theories would be correct a single WiFi router could serve everyone on the entire planet.

Wi-fi is a technique using very low intensity radio waves. Whilst similar in wavelength to domestic microwave radiation, the intensity of wi-fi radiation is 100,000 times less than that of a domestic microwave oven.

Duh! Everyone knows that. This is why there is a limit to how many floors a WiFi router can penetrate. But instead of wasting time on proving me right over and over again, you should perhaps do something more useful with your time! Some Bible Study perhaps?

You don't seem to realize that there is a difference between the wave I was postulating and wi-fi.

No matter, ill move on to a more obvious challenge to flat earth science. One of the oldest proofs of the Earth's shape can be seen from the ground and occurs during every lunar eclipse. The geometry of a lunar eclipse has been known since ancient Greece. When a full Moon occurs in the plane of Earth's orbit, the Moon slowly moves through Earth's shadow. Every time that shadow is seen, its edge is round. The only solid that always projects a round shadow is a sphere.

You're mistaken. The shadows we see are from varying angles, as the sun and moon are in different places relative to the earth with each eclipse. If the earth was flat, the shadow would NOT ALWAYS be circular, more an ellipse.

Turn your plate sideways and fire your torch again. Oh its not a circle anymore.

First of all, go to the seashore and watch a large ship sail away from you on a clear day. If the earth was flat, it should keep getting smaller and smaller. Instead, you see the bottom part disappear first - and that is because it is going around the curvature of the earth.

I realize this is all probably a joke, but let's see how you can work that out.

No, not that. I was raised believing that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior. Whatever he was, he was a great teacher, and the world would do well to live by his principles and convictions.

I do not mock Scripture.

I believe that the earth is a sphere, since this has been corroborated by so many different sources. In addition, the "circle of the earth" line could just as easily have been referring to a sphere rather than a disc, imo.

If I'm wrong about this being a parody, pardon me. This community is just a bit different from most others, I hope you realize.

I'm familiar with the Bible, and I've studied it partially. I have not yet gone through it fully, although I can discuss most points as well as pull up specific important examples.
