This topic is a perfect example where science have a far more plausible explanation than the bible. Scientific theory works without flaws while yours do not.

The Holy Bible does not advise us to have an "open" mind.

I always thought that people didn't fall off Earth because of gravity?

And those pictures that you have of the edge of the world? I've seen them before. They're photoshops.

I'm usually quite open minded when it comes to hypothesizing... but to believe the Bible over my own eyes is incredibly challenging. My eyes are telling me the world is round.
Can a True Christian explain to me why exactly when I am in a plane at altitude, the curvature of the Earth is visible? Or why things gradually appear over the horizon, rather than remain constantly in my field of view? Cheers.

Simple. Imagine yourself in the center of a 20 mile wide flat disc. Could you see the rounded edge from the ground? Of course not. But with enough elevation at the center, could you NOT see the curvature of the disc's edge?

Same thing with God's gift of the geo-disc!

By the same logic, if I was elevated to a relatively high point on Earth, I should be able to see everything on the planet with a telescope. You can't see your destination when you take off, only when you are near enough for it to appear over the horizon.

Of course not. Air is not completely transparent, especially if humidity is high. Also there is a limit to how far our eyes can see and how much a telescope can enlarge an image.

Alright then, say you have a device that measures low frequency radio waves. You should be able to detect a wave sent from one side of the Atlantic on the other. But you can't. This is because the receiver is over the horizon, and not in the emitter's line of sight.

Of course not, all radio signals have a limited range. Everyone with a WiFi router or a cellphone knows that. If your silly theories would be correct a single WiFi router could serve everyone on the entire planet.
